Talen groaned and rolled over as he woke up. He glanced up at the clock with his dark brown eyes. After observing the time, he plopped his head back down on his pillow. He pulled himself out of bed and went into the bathroom. He slowly brushed his teeth then brushed through his hari. He tiredly walked back to his room and went to his closet. He searched through his clothes until he found some dark skinny jeans and a grey tank top. He slid his pants on then his shirt and then went to search for his shoes. He looked under the bed then grabbed his old pair of converse. He sat on the bed sliding them on then tieing them up. He grabbed his phone, and wallet then headed out of his room. "Vennie!!" called his little sister, Abby, when she seen him. "Abby!" he said as she ran up to him giggling. She jumped and hugged him and he caught her and picked her up hugging her. He held her and walked towards the kitchen. He sat her down once he got in there and she run off smiling. "Morning mom. I think I'm gonna go walk around." he said with a smile. "Okay hun." He went over and kissed her cheek then headed out the front door.

The buzzing of my alarm clock wakes me. Hearing it, I slowly sit up in bed. I then look over at it and the first thing that goes through my head is, Why is it even on? I mean, it's summer, right? I then mentally make a note to myself to throw it against a wall later. I get out of bed, the day had just started and I was already annoyed. I slowly get dressed, just so I can prove to the universe {and my alarm clock} it's summer and I have no reason to rush. Because that makes sense. After getting ready, I go down the stairs, phone in hand. I eat some breakfast, made by my lovely mother. I put my dishes in the sink, kiss my mom on the cheek and then proceed out of the door. I wander towards the park, not having any plans for today and not sure exactly what I should do.
