The Street of New York City. In the day they consist of alleyways, twisting back passages, and shadowy figures. At night its a frightening place. Long, dark shadows could be hiding anything...anyone. If your reading this now you call this 'Home Sweet Home'. We are the over looked. We are the lost and abandoned. We are the 'homeless'. We are the outcasts.

You are here probably because of some mishap or another disaster. Rarely do we get someone who actually wanted to be in a place like this. You've either been abandoned, thrown out because of the mistakes you can't undo. You've either joined with bitter hatred or lonely sadness. Either you have just begun to get to know the secrets behind being a 'street kid' or you've lived here all your life. You'll eventually have the 'choice' to join a gang. Then your seemingly hopeless future will change.

Gangs consist of many people who have taken each other in....more or less. There is almost always a leader to a gang and there is usually a constant fight over who gets to 'rule'. The leader names the gang and your character can be the leader if you reserve the spot. (For now, until we get leaders I'm leaving the gang names blank for you to tell me what you would like your gang to be called). Oh, and a tip for the street; age don't matter here. Gangs fight amongst themselves and challenge other gangs for either the sport of it or their right to 'own' a street. NOTE: You don't have to be part of a gang. You can be a loner on the streets.

Name: My name....Yes my name is Willow. don't wear it out. There isn't much to tell about my name. Just that my parents didn't care enough to name me so I picked one myself. I couldn't be some no name freak so I also picked a last name for myself.

Age: I am seventeen years of age. My birthday is March 25th...but there is really nothing special about it. I was born an accident so I try to forget about the day I was born.

Hair: My hair isn't any unique color. Its a shining brown. That's it. No, it doesn't change colors or do anything cool. Like I have been saying there is nothing special about me.

Eyes: Same thing with my eyes. They are a normal blue. Sky blue but nothing else. Not changing colors or anything deep and beautiful.

The Girl I want you to think I am: I want you to know that I am tough. I don't cry and I don't show emotion. I show pity but only for the outcast. I am the leader of this gang for a reason and I can pick my own fight. I don't need you shoulder to lean on and I don't need your pity.

The Girl I Really Am: I'm sensitive and I've had a hard past. I'm here because I want to be here and my will to live isn't gone yet. I need someone to lean on but I'm to afraid to reach out in the dark. I have an issue with trust. In the streets all I've ever know is someone is always there to catch you...then stab you in the bloody back. I've been alone all my life. I want to find a lover but the stories I've heard are just fairy tales for a girl like me. No one in my life has cared that much for me so I don't believe that its possible.

Personality: I may seem mean and hard but I'm really just a girl crying behind a wall I've built for myself. My hobbies are graffiti. My only real passion is art. I have an addiction to drinking and tend to drink when I'm upset and to try and solve my problems. Hey, what can I say? Don't blame for my mistakes. They are mine and I can't go back. I've never had someone to tell me what was wrong and what is right.

My Story: Well I'll start from the beginning. I was an accident. My mom and dad met in Vegas and thought they had fallen madly in love. They slept with my one night and found that they didn't love each other as much as they had though. My mom heard she was pregnant and my dad walked out on her, wanting nothing to do with a screaming baby. I was born and my mom hated me. She told me I ruined her life, that it was my fault. And like an idiot I believed her. From childhood I was abused by her second husband who only wanted her for the nights. He drank and hit me and my mother did nothing to prevent it. When I was at the age of 7 I ran. It was my only option. I was cold and lost my first day but as the months moved on I was accepted into a gang and that was the only thing i can call family. I moved up in rank and learned the ways of New York City's streets until they were like second nature to me. Then, on my 16th birthday I challenged the leader and won. I've only gotten few challenges since then but I have come out on top.
