Kevin smiled back, Alexis had a sweetness that brought Kevin at ease. Maybe that was the word he was looking for...Sweet. "So do you come here often?" I say, struggling to get my father to stop calling me. Of all times, the was 'perfect timing to bother me.

"I come here all the time, to get away from some people. Well, one person." Kevin said, sighing. "It's sad I have to leave my own home to avoid him but, as long as he does not find me, everything is fine." Kevin shook his head.

I finally got tired of waiting for Alex (or "Kai", as he preferred), and decided to walk on the beach. I hummed a sweet tune, the one my brother often teased me about, saying I sounded like Ariel from 'The Little Mermaid'. I closed my eyes, singing openly. I didn't notice as I walked close to a handsome young man until I accidentally ran into him. "Oh my god! I'm so sorry!" I said quickly as my eyes flew open. I looked at his face and felt a heavy blush creep up my cheeks and my blonde hair fell over my face, thankfully hiding most of the blush.

Luna walked along the boardwalk just above the sandy beach. In her arms she carried two little kittens; One ginger and one black one. Their names were Oliver and Jinx and she abseloutely adored them. She'd gotten them a little while ago, but she seemed to be inseperable from them. She literally took them everywhere. She'd even designed them a little bag so that she could carry them around. Luna had recently been taking them to the beach and from what she observed, the two munchkins simply adored the beach. They loved running through the sand and splashing the water. They were definately quite the oddballs, but that only made Luna love them more.

"Oh I'm sorry that you had to leave.." she said softly and looking at him. "it's someone trying to hurt you?" she asked curiously and quite worriedly "... it's ok if you don't want to talk about it" she added with a warm smile.

Kevin looked away. "Yeah. My father, well he already hurt me, physically and mentally. Now he wants to visit, and I just don't trust him." Kevin sighed. His phone rang again. Kevin frowned and shut off his phone. Kevin felt a tiny bit better, by telling someone about his past, but he mostly felt like a person who is needy.

She sighed and looked up at him , feeling bad about him. she nodded . "I understand.. but you won't be able to avoid him forever. and plus , you are not alone " she said softly , and smiled lightly. "but he must be a bad person if he hurted you like that" she added still with a soft tone. and sighed . she had a good family now . but she still remembered when her biological mother abandoned her at the age of 4 years .
