"you smell good" he said and then relized it sounded a little creepy "I-I mean-!" he couldnt recover and turned pink

Jay laughed, his cheeks a light pink,"T-thanks?Not sure how to respond..' he laughed.

"i wouldnt know either" he said and laughed

Jay just smiled at him curiously, thinking about how he could possibly be anyone's crush and only meeting them a few hours earlier.

walked into the room and saw both the boy's pink faces "what did i miss" she smiled

Jay's face grew hot with embaressment as he sat there quietly without a word.

she saw jay's reaction "nevermind" she said quickly "would you guys like some raspberry chocolate cake?"

Connor:
"yes please!" he said and smiled

Came out with three plates of cake "here you go" she said handing the boys theirs.
she sat down on the other side of connor sensing that Jay was a little skittish around new people. "I'm ashley" she smiled "what's your name?

Connor:
"thanks!' he said taking the plate
