(I have no idea where anyone is, so I'm just gonna wing it.)

I shot a glance at the stage outside, and for a moment, I debated whether or not I wanted to go over there instead of inside. It wasn't like anyone would care. Or notice. I let out a breath, and then I started walking over to it. There wasn't anyone here that I could see. Once I got there, I walked to the edge of the stage, took the guitar off my back and opened up my acoustic guitar's case. I sat down on the edge of my stage with my legs hanging over, and I started playing quietly.

I shoved the other drumstick into my pocket and walked a little bit faster. I wasn't in any rush to get to class, but I didn't feel like staying outside for very much longer. Anyway, the only way I could practice was by going inside. I walked up the stairs of the building to the front entrance and walked inside. It didn't look like a school in here. It was a lot bigger on the inside than it was on the outside, or at least it felt like that.

I swallowed a little and pulled out an earbud. I thought I had heard something, but I wasn't sure. I walked a little bit faster out of habit. I wasn't sure why, but I was already starting to become tense. Usually the only reasons I got freaked out were because of too many people or my dad. There wasn't anyone here. I shook my head at myself, and I told myself that I was being stupid. And I knew I was. What was the point of being freaked out about something that didn't matter?
