The word 'base' when referring to the the guitar is spelled 'bass'. I actually play the bass guitar, and I've gotten REALLY picky about that since I started.)

I woke up to the sound of an insanely loud band playing through my headphones. I opened my eyes after a second and stared at the ceiling in my room for a few seconds before I sat up and took off the headphones. First day, I thought, shaking my head a little. It was an attempt to make myself less sleepy, and already I knew it wasn't going to work. I stood up slowly and made my way over to my dresser. I stood still in front of it before I opened the drawers and got some clothes out. I changed out of my pajamas and into what I had chosen before heading into the bathroom to comb out my hair. I finished that rather quickly, and I slapped on some make up before I walked out. I lived at the school. I was still a little surprised that they hadn't given me a roommate, but I was also relieved because of it. The only way I would ever survive with one was if they were mute.

I drummed my fingers on the top of the counter. I could hear my dad snoring in the room near next to the kitchen, and I wondered why he didn't just walk into his own room last night. Why do I still live here? I thought, shaking my head a little bit at myself as I moved over to the fridge. After all, it was me who did everything in this house. I took out some food from the fridge and wandered over to the outside door. Legally, I could move out and live by myself, but then what would happen to my dad? I glanced at the shoe closet and took out a pair as I thought. I shoved my feet into some shoes, and then I walked outside and over to my car. Back to school.

Someone shouted my name. I jumped when I heard it, but then relaxed when I realized that it was only my uncle. I threw on a sweatshirt as he shouted from downstairs for me to hurry up. The thought of school and people still freaked me out a little, but there was no way I was backing out. I grabbed a pair of Converse from my closet and put those on my feet before I went downstairs, where I was forced to eat some of my aunt's awful cooking before my uncle dragged me out of the house and put me in his car. I could drive, but no one would let me yet. They were probably afraid of me crashing into something, which actually did make a little bit of sense. I had a kind of problem with one of my arms still. There were times when I couldn't move it or it would shake a lot. Those were becoming less frequent, but it still pissed me off when they happened. Of course my insanely overprotective new 'parents' didn't want me to get behind the wheel. They were afraid my arm would lock up and I would run into a tree or something.

(And, as usual, I write a ton for my first post. We'll see how long this lasts. I also edited my characters a little, and I'm editing some of the rules.)

Shoki was still fast asleep when his alarm clock went off. He threw his hand onto that irritating thing and made it go off. He opened his eyes slwoly and looked at the time. It was time to get up. He sighed deeply and sat up straight. After glancing over at the mirror on the wall, which reached from the ground to the ceiling, he slid his hand trough his hair and jumped up to go and make hiimself look less horrible. After spending far too mcuh time fro a boy in the bathroom, he was fully dressed and looked pretty good. He spent another five minutes putting on his boots and then went down the stairs quickly. He grabbed some crackers to eat, as usual, then grabbed his bag and walked outside. It was a bit too hot, but once inside of teh school building, it would get cooler. He looked aroudn and sighed, so many boring looking people. He shook his heda and started his daily ten-minute-walk to school.

Tetsu just came home at the time Shoki had woken up. He had been jogging early, like he usually did. He took a quick shower and changed into his daily clothes, ripped jeans and a black shirt with a gothic skull on it. After quickly fixing his hair, he grabbed his bag and went outside. He had eaten before he went home and he didn't feel like taking a quick snack now. He jumped into his car and drove off rather quickly. when he reached the school building, he drifted and parked by using the handbreak. He stepped out of his car and put his sunglasses on. He took a deep breath, school was starting again. He was a bit nervous about who his new classmates would be going to be, especially since he was new on this school. He got a folded piece of paper out of his pocket and unfolded it. His class was on it and his shedule as well. He locked his car and folded the piece of paper back into his pocket after memorizing it. He then walked onto the school grounds.

Naoto woke up in, well, not her bed, but it didn't matter to her which bed it was. She rolled out of it, landed on the ground and yelled, 'yes, good morning girlfriends!' She then stood up and jumped with her knees into her girlfriend's stomach. 'There you go! Wake up! Wake up!' She then ran to Omi and jumped on top of her, saying, 'go smoke! I need the smell of cigarettes in the morning!' As always, she was very hyper in the mornings, which would fade away later on the day. She ran around a few times before going into the bathroom to change into her usual clothes.

Xiva moaned when her alarm went off. She slammed it off and rolled out of bed. She looked at her "morning face" in the mirror. "First day. Terrific." she mumbled and hopped in the shower. When she came out, her black hair was calmed down and in a simple messy bun. She pulled on some shorts and a hoodie. She added a pair of her favorite Toms to finish the outfit. She ran downstairs. "Morning! Grab and go!" she said to her foster parents, who were sitting in their very large kitchen. "Alright! Bye sweetie! Drive safely!" came the unison from the kitchen. Xiva smiled. "Hugs and kisses!" she shouted as she went into the garage. She got in her blue 2009 mustang and headed to school.
