Three days later Leida opened her eyes groggily, her head spinning. She stared up at the ceiling, not at all aware of where she was. She looked to her right at a beeping machine with an IV stuck in her arm. She sighed. She always hated hospitals. She couldn't stand the smell, the atmosphere. Nothing.

Dustin came walking into the room at about the same time Leida woke up. He had been hanging around the hospital for the past couple of days though he hadn't stayed by her side, like she had done for him. Dustin hadn't eaten or slept since Leida had gotten hit, he got like that when he was real worried. He didn't ever notice he was worried, though he'd just never feel hungry and he could never sleep. Dustin hadn't been like that in so many years though. "Hey," he said quietly, the silence of hospitals always made him feel like he had to whisper or something. Dustin wasn't sure how she'd take seeing him here though honestly he didn't really care.

Leida looked down from the ceiling to see Dustin's worried face. She couldn't find the words so shs just slightly waved. She tried to turn her head but she still had on a neck bracr. "W,why do I have a dog cone on my head? What happened?" She asked in a panicky tone.

Dustin glanced behind himself before speaking. "Uh you got hit." He figured she would be able to understand the rest. Dustin sighed and folded his arms across his chest. He turned his still cool blue gaze onto the ground. He was good at keeping emotions out of his eyes. Dustin either didn't care about anything so he disn't have much emotion and when he did he would hide it well.

Leida groaned. "My f-cking head hurts," she said, squinting at the light coming in through the blinds. She wanted to know why he was here, but she didn't want to run him off. Maybe she should though.. She pushed the thought away quickly. "Are you alright?" She asked softly.

Dustin rolled his eyes and glanced at her. "No sh*t your head hurts. What'd ya expect?" He muttered. Dustin frowned slightly at what she said after. "Yeah?" He said sounding more than a little confused. He guess she would be wondering why he would be here unless he was hurt or sick or something. Actually the doctor had told him that he'd end up in the hospital too if he didn't get some rest and some food. But he didn't listen, he never did.

Leida squeezed her eyes shut as her brain throbbed. She felt like she got hit by a truck. Oh wait, she fid! She couldn't remember what happened but she tried to keep it that wsy. She then opened her soft grey eyes to look at him. "You can take a seat if you want," she murmered softly.

Dustin shook his head and yawned. He was tired though he knew he wouldn't be able to sleep. Dustin glanced around the room for a moment. It seemed odd, usually he'd be doing anything to stay away from this place but now he was her on his own free will. Dustin didn't really want to sit down, partly cause he thought he might just fall asleep there.

Leida looked up at him worridly. "You need some sleep," she pointed out softly. "Come lay down. This bed is plenty big enough for two."
