The cab pulled to a halt and the boys both looked out of their windows; in the end Jared was halfway across Chace's lap looking out the right window at their new home for the year, and hopefully, many years to come. He heard teh dogs let out whines of protest and quickly jumped back into his seat; getting a playful glare from Chace.
"You ready for this Danger?'' Jared asked, looking to his friend.
"You say that as if it's even remotely possible for me to not be ready for something I've been pining after for over a year." The blonde said with a smile tugging at his lips.
Jared barked out a laugh and shook Chace's shoulder affectionately.
"Come on."Chace opened the door,
Dukeand
Harley tumbling out but only going a few paces out of the car before waiting for Chace.
Dane getting out after Chace at once and doing a full body shake before going to sniff at the ground.
Jared payed the driver, throwing a "Dankeschön!" over his shoulder as he got out the car. He stretched out his limbs before going to the trunk of the car and pulling out his two bags, Chace coming to grab his own as well as taking out and carefully putting down the three guitar cases and two amplifiers with the rest of the bags on the side walk.
They both let out breathes before taking up the task of loading themselves like pack mules with bags and equipment. Jared silently thanking Chace for having such well behaved dogs and helping him train his Dane to be just as polite. If they'd had to drag the dogs behind them on leashes while attempting to carry all their stuff would have been suicidal.
Lucky for them it wasn't such a long walk before they saw a group of three girls sitting and waiting. They headed for them at once. Jared stopped up short when he saw the German Shepherd puppy sitting with them.
"Dane! Ven aquí!" Jared called to the dog at once; he'd trained the dog in Spanish specifically so that he would respond to Jared more then other people, and right now it was effective as almost at once he felt the short fur rub against his let momentarily. Jared sighed in relief; for now they were safe. Jared walked a little bit faster and set the bags and equipment on the ground a few feet from the trio of girls. Chace dropped his load right next to him.
Jared and Dane turned to look at the girls, carefree smiles turning up their lips. Harley and Duke were standing obediently next to Chace as Jared held lightly to Dane's Collar to keep him from rushing towards the puppy. Dane loved puppies. The problem was he was too boisterous for them and so it wasn't the best idea to let him go charging into them.
