Emmy fell to the pillow and curled under the covers.

[tooru]

Ash

He ran down the stairs. There was a group of guys at the bottom drinking beer. They handed him a bottle, and he drank it.

[seahaven]

Emmy woke up a little while later. Ash was gone. Figures. She knew he wouldn't last long. She looked out the window and saw a small balcony. She stepped out into the cold night and hugged her knees while she leant against the wall.

[tooru]

Ash

He could feel the familiar fogginess cloud his brain. It felt good to forget his crimes every once and awhile.

[seahaven]

Emmy put his hat onto the bed, once she had climbed back in. She looked around and walked out towards the stairs. She covered her face with her hands and stuffed her hands in her pockets. She walked down the stairs and came upon some people. She didn't make out the faces so she turned towards the door and started to walked towards it.

[tooru]

Ash

He glanced at Emmy, but her face didn't register.

[seahaven]

Emmy kept walking towards the door when she reached it she breathed out slowly, and she saw her breath. She walked across the street towards a club.

[tooru]

Ash

One of the guys punched him in the arm, and in response, Ash punched him back in the gut.

[seahaven]

Emmy looked around and a man walked up to her. "Why hello!" He slurred his words. "Get away from me pig." He slapped her. She gasped and punched his face. He fell back and once he started getting up, Emmy ran back to the hotel and up the stairs, she was crying.

[tooru]

Ash

His mind cleared for a second, but then fogged up again. He sat down clumsily in one of the chairs.
