Ari climbed down the tree, meeting Ronni. He hadnt eaten the squirrel. He pinned his ears back. "Picky little one, arent you?" Ari laughed gently. She grabbed the dead, cold squirrel and walked to her 'camp-site'. She re-started the fire, penetrating the squirrel onto a sharp stick. She held the stick above the fire, roasting it slowly. Her older sister had shown her this trick four years ago, before she had been killed. Except it was for fun camping, and you used marshmallows. Now, Ari hated the thought of it, but it cooked food.
Drake saw a deer before him. He took some dried meat from his pocket. There wasnt much from the once huge deer he had killed about two months ago. He sighed, shrugging simply. He hated going anywhere to find food. He'd much rather hunt. But, with his AK, it was simply wasting bullets. He had no bag, so he decided to simply walk on. He stuffed the meat into his pocket, walking off.
Benjamin opened a plastic bag, filled to the top with dried banana slices. He ate a couple, closing the bag and putting it in his pack. He grabbed the pack, putting it onto his back. He grabbed a large bottle, with a leather strap attached to it. He walked to a nearby creek, filling the bottle with cool water. He brought it to a warm fire outside of the cottage. He placed the bottle above the fire, a few inches away from the flame. After a few minutes, he removed the cap, seeing the boiling water. He Placed the cap back on, putting the leather strap on, going into the house. He now had clean water cooling off.
Kylie sighed, after a while. she came to a farm-like area. There was an abandoned looking barn. Sweat dripped heavily from her face. She was tired, hot, sweaty, and needed a break. It was only Spring, but she had been walking for a long time, and she got hot easily. She walked to the barn, climbing to the second-story. She covered herself in a thin layer of hay, falling asleep to rest.
