ooc: Ohmigod. Read the saddest thing today, and it reminded me of Peyton Xanther, and there soon to be child.

Peyton froze as Mrs. C slipped past her. Once her soon-to-be- mother-in-law left the room, peyton turned around and faced Xanther, noticing his cheesy-ish smile. But instead of smiling back at him, she gave him a stern look. She was clearly un-amused. Slowly crossing her arms, she spoke with a low tone voice "Well Xanther, i think you've done it." she said "You've really done it now..."

Xanther gave Peyton a confused look then frowned. "I..." Xanther paused and looked down at the ground quietly, thinking to him self thoughtfully before sliding back down onto his bed.
"I'm sorry..." he whispered, bringing his feet up and hugging his knees. "It was an accident..."

Peyton slowly uncrossed her eyes and sighed as she watched Xanther curl up on his bed. "No Xanther, I-I didn't mean it.. I..." Her sentence faded, and she looked down. Slowly she made her way over the best and carefully set down next to Xanther. She lightly set her hand on Xanthers back and began to rub up and down gently. "Xanther, dear..." She began slowly "I'm the one who's sorry.. I didn't mean to lash out at you..."

Xanther flinched slightly as he felt Peyton's hand gently come onto his back. Xanther shook his head as Peyton tried to comfort him. "N-No...I-it's not you..." Xanther sniffed and slid his hands onto his face, wiping away what seemed to be tears. "It's me..." he cried in a whispery voice. "I'm sorry. I didn't know...I..." Xanther shook his head again and was quiet for a moment, trembling a bit as he tried to explain but then he just sat, staring at his legs with wet eyes...

"But Xanther!" she cried "You did nothing wrong.. i dont even really know why i got so mad at you.. I just hate to see you and your mom argue so i guess i just.. I dont know.." She looked at his broken face and her own heart began to break. Why did she do this to Xanther. She always put him through hell for no apparent reason... Yet he still loved her? To her it seemed a bit crazy.. He must really love me alot..

Xanther frowned as he listened to Peyton "I-It's not you Peyton!" he cried, lifting his head to look at her and letting his legs hang off the side of his bed. "I-It's m-me! I've done everything wrong!"

Peyton looked deeply at Xanther with her harsh gray eyes. She took in a slow deep breath before sighing and looking away from Xan. Ah, gosh. Look, here we go again with the arguing and fighting.. Over what though? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. And who caused this mess? The one and only b*tch herself, Peyton. Me. I cause all this bull-s*** to happen. I bring people pain and suffering, when all they deserve is happiness and longing. I'm a rebel girl.. Nothing more. Nothing less. Just a careless girl in the world who doesnt think before she acts or speak. the girl who went to jail not once. but twice. the girl who broke Xanthers heart endless times. how dare i call myself a mom when i cant even get my act together. How dare I want to bring a child in the world, when I'm just a child myself.. Xanthrr... but xantherr.. hes ready. And he knows it. He's the kindest sweetest person you'll ever meet. He knows how to treat a lady right.. Even if the lady constantly ridicules him..but I always ask this question. Why would he love someone like me? I don't deserve to be loved by him. I don't deserve him.

Xanther frowned as Peyton looked away and mumbled quietly to himself as he squinted. He slowly looked down, suddenly looking tired and weak again. He fiddled around with his fingers nervously as silence filled the room and slowly curled up on his bed, mumbling nonsense out loud as he put his arms over his head and started to tremble.

Peyton glanced back at Xanther and sighed, hating herself at the moment. "Look Xanther I-" but before she was finnished speaking, she noticed Xanther start to tremble and mumble words Peyton could not understand.. "Xanther.. Are.. Are you okay?" she asked sitting back on the bed and scooting close to him, gently placing an arm around him. "Xanther.. talk to me."

Xanther flinched as Peyton put an arm around him but allowed her to as he continued to tremble, suddenly letting out a growl. But this growl sounded realistic, like a dog's nearly. How? Xanther curled up more and eventually started to growl and tremble even more. "P-P-P-Peeeeeyyytoooon...." Xanther said in a whispery voice. "Peeeyyyton..." He slowly started to quiet down and after a long moment of repeating her name over and over again, he slid into silence...
