Arashi nodded. "Alright, I don't mind waiting." He smiled at Blaise and swung his legs back and forth. He shivered slightly, feeling suddenly cold. He wrapped his arms around him and hummed quietly.

Aiden (Blaise/Keegan)
I smiled a little bit and looked down, my mind wandering. My inability to come up with sentences was starting to get annoying.

Arashi

Arashi glanced at Blaise and his gaze lingered for a few moments, though he realized he was staring and looked down at the floor. He smiled softly, not minding the silence. Being around this guy was almost calming and it felt like he could lower his guard around him. Something buzzed in his pocket, bringing him out of his thoughts. Arashi realized it was his phone and took it out, answering it. He clenched his jaw when his father answered. "Where are you? Where is Ezekiel?"
"School."
"When will you be back?"
"Late."
"Why? I want someone to cook me dinner."
"Because. Don't even think of looking for Ezekiel. He is with me." Arashi lied and then hung up, slipping the phone back in his pocket. He took deep breaths trying to cool his anger.

Aiden (Blaise/Keegan)
I looked up from the floor again. I bit the inside of my cheek for a moment. "Are you alright?" I asked quietly.

Arashi

Arashi kept his head down for a few moments before he looked at Blaise. He kind of shrugged his shoulders. "Yeah, just mad at my father and, well, glad that my brother is staying at a friend's house tonight." He let out a soft sigh, but tried to smile a little at Blaise.

Aiden (Blaise/Keegan)
"Oh," I said. My voice was still kind of quiet, even though I didn't really want it to be. "Parents suck," I added, not even sort of joking.

Arashi

Arashi nodded. "Yeah, tell me about." He muttered, subconsciously touching his side. He sighed softly and ran a hand through his hair.

Or, at least, dads do, I thought. Except, from what I remembered of my mom, she sucked, too. Not as much as my dad, but she'd been right to run when she had. Too bad she hadn't brought me with her.

Arashi started swinging his legs again and wondered absently what they should do after school. He was trying his hardest to get his mind off his father and his expression showed that he was struggling with something emotionally.
