Alexandra (Alex)
I stood still for a second or two before I moved to the wall next to the door. "Hello?" I called. I had no idea if the kid inside could hear me, but I figured that I'd try. And if the person inside turned out to be either an idiot or a jerk, at least I had the option of avoiding them for the rest of my time here.

I tapped my pen quietly against my desk as I stared at the verse I had written. I write everything in the form of a song, so I had at least two choruses, or refrains, three or four different verses, and a bridge. The verses I wrote were always really long, and the chorus was usually only about four of five lines. The bridge was usually the same length as the chorus. Maybe I could add music to this later.

I leaned against the halls in one of the halls. My eyes were squeezed shut, my head against the wall. Anyone who looked at me would probably think I was in pain, and I was. I didn't even want to come to school today, but anything was a good excuse to get out of the house. Even this. I didn't hate school, but I hated the fact that people gave me weird stares and talked about me behind my back. That pissed me off.
