Name
"Vadin Leo Bruce. Remember it!"
Age
"Twenty, last time I checked."
Gender
"I'm pretty sure it's male... Do you want to make sure?"
Crush
"Any girl that's nice to look at."

Image

Hair
"Strange question. But, it's naturally the color of dishwater; and I hate it. It's quite long, and is usually a frizzy mess- unless I spend hours washing it- then it's limp like a dead animal. Even worse."
Eyes
"Green. Not that you'll ever see them. I prefer to keep them on my feet."
Skin
"Heh. I was waiting for you to ask this one. Pale, yeah, white, but what you rarely see are the millions of tattoos that I have! I don't remember most of 'em... That's what happens when you have thirty six of 'em! I have 'Family First' on my chest, near my neck, and two blue and red birds near it. All I can remember getting. Heh."
Overall
"Well. I'm six feet one, quite tall, 'specially for a British man such as myself. As said before, I have green eyes that are usually locked on my feet, wild, frizzy dishwater-colored hair, and an covered in tattoos. I'm not the most muscled person in the world, but I'm far from fat- and I have a few muscles! If I really wanted I could punch that smile right off of your face! Anyways, I have long, thin and agile fingers (guitarists need that, ya know!) and am quite thin in general."

Image

Fears
"Warehouses. Don't ask."
"Spiders. Those things are terrifying."
Habits
"I always bite my nails."
"I tend to scratch my thumb and palm. I don't know why."
Likes
"Animals, fluffy fluffy animals! Kittens and puppies- as long as they don't throw up."
"TV! I love knowing who got Sally pregnant!"
"Music. You can say I'm a bit obsessed with my music."
"Guitar. I love jamming out on hard riffs and playing impossible chords."
Dislikes
"Being told what to do. No way, I'm not taking that crap."
"Someone putting down someone innocent! It just gets of my nerves!"
"Children. Plain and simple. The way they whine. Ew."
"The color pink! Ew! Just...eeeww!"
Talents
"Well, I'm a guitarist... A full-fledged metal guitarist."
"I can... kinda... sing..."
"I'm very flexible and can walk on my hands."
Personality
"Well. I, uh, I guess I tend to be a bit of a loner. I don't like talking to new people. Just... No. I tend to defend someone if they're on the wrong side of a bullet, though; if someone is attacking someone I know did nothing to provoke a fight, I'll jump in. Especially if I'm friends with that person. I keep my eyes on my feet, and I use eye contact only to intimidate or make my point heard- metaphorically. I love to dance, to anything with a strong beat! I also will go to great lengths to make sure I'm the one no one will go after. Just a habit."

Image

Birthplace
"London, England."
Parents
"Aaralyn and Joshua Bruce."
Siblings
"I... I, uhm, used to have a little sister."
Pets
"I have a Rottweiler named Mission."
History
"Well. This'll be fun. But excuse me if I don't jump for joy at the idea of sharing.
"I was born on a stormy December night, on a Friday. Oh yeah, and it was the 13th. Anyways, so, I grew up in London for the first five years of my life, and then my family moved to America. Chicago, to be exact. I never lost that ol' Brit accent! When I was about seven, my mum had a little girl, Allison. I absolutely hated that child. She stole all the attention from me.
"Well, when we were little, I was fourteen, I remember walking Allison to school. And to get to Chicago Elementary School, you have to go through the warehouse district. Anyways, before we made it to the warehouse district, we were stopped by a creepy man asking why we were walking alone. He seemed to think we were homeless, so he offered us shelter. Allison thought it was so interesting, so she ripped her hand away and ran inside the warehouse. I chased after her, but something hit me on the head and I passed out.
"When I woke up, I was in the alley beside the warehouse and alone. No one was there. I walked out of the alley and found that everyone- litteraly everyone had been looking for us. So, anyways, I was whisked to a hospital, treated, and eventually we found my sister and lived happily ever after.
"I'm sorry- that's not true. So, I was brought to a hospital, but my sister was never found. I blamed myself- and I still do. But I found metal music, and have loved it since. Anyways, when I was eighteen, I left home and lived on the streets. For two years. I found a dog, named 'er Mission, and spent my days doing drugs and drowning my sorrows in whiskey. I had a problem. I know. Let's get over it and continue onto the next subject, shall we?
"So, then Julia found me, the homeless, twenty-year-old drunk and shipped me off here. Happy now?"

Image

Feelings on the Ranch
"Hate the idea. Loves what it does. Well, I was freaking homeless. Julie or whatever he name is took me in. They're keeping me away from the booze and... everything else. Thankfully. I've no idea how to work with these horses, though. And I'm not about to take advice from a child. I'll figure it out on my own. That's all I have to say."

Finished, though I might make a girl eventually. ^.^

Julia Everheart (Owner)

Julia dropped the shovel off in the supply closet that connected to the main room of one of her work sheds. Wiping the sweat off of her brow, she glanced at her phone's screen to check the time. Crap, she thought, suddenly finding herself in a hurry. The kids are going to be arriving here soon! She wondered briefly if any of them would have a problem at the fact that she had failed to mention that they weren't the only lost soul she had picked up and brought to her farm on a gracious gesture. She frowned at herself. Why would they care? It's not like it's any of their business what she does. They're lucky she let them come in the first place. Exitting her shed, she hopped on her bright yellow four-wheeler, and tore out of there, covering ground quickly until she reached the dormitory that she had built just for this occasion. She admired her custom work for a moment, before tearing her gaze away and staring at the front gate that was heavily guarded by some creepy looking men, who, despite their appearance, were kind and loyal to the bone. Well, at least to her. Julia heaved a sigh, the fatigue from everything she had been doing today seeping into her aging bones. She was only 37, yet she felt 50. "Natalia!" She called out, looking for her daughter, "It's time for the kids to be showing up, get your butt out here and act nice!"

Natalia Everheart

Natalia groaned in annoyance when she heard her mother call for her. She glanced over her shoulder at the wall clock, and huffed indignantly. It was time for her mom's charity case to come, and she was none-too-pleased. She didn't want to share her home with a bunch of people who probably didn't know what the word 'work' meant. She tied her long hair up on the top of her head, and scurried out of the new dorm - one that was co-ed, much to her distaste - and greeted her mom with a forced smile. "Yippee." She muttered unenthusiastically. To top things off, her mom was ditching her for practically a year, leaving her to handle the whole farm - which wasn't something that was unusal, in fact she was capable of it - but also handle the 20 something teens. Some of them older than her, probably.

{{ I'll make my next post prettier... but I have to go and finish reading my book assigned for school... heh, I waited until the day before, typical. }}

Vadin Leo Bruce
Were they here already? Vadin stretched himself out in the small area he had, and glanced out the window. The ranch was close... He could tell not by the sights but by the smell of manure in the air. This was going to be a fun year, but he needed it- it was shelter, it was a place to keep him away from the alcohol. And that's what he needed.
Oh, yeah. And he had the opportunity to be bossed around my a sixteen-year-old. Whoop-de-freaking-doo!
The bus pulled to a stop, and Vadin was out in moments. Out of that cramped hole known as a seat. Well, at least he had only shared it with Mission. Mission wasn't going to provoke conversation and ask him why he was here.
Vadin stepped onto the dirt with his large combat boots, rubbing his eyes with one hand and gripping Mission's collar with the other. He pulled his torn jacket closer around him and mumbled something about the sun and the moon. He released the collar of the Rottweiler and immediately regretted it as the dog, who had been cooped up for the entire time they were in the bus, ran in a wide circle around him.
Stupid dog! Mission, shut up and stand still! He yelled the words lazily at the dog and, as she came closer, wrapped both hands around her worn leather collar. I'm sorry. She's a bit hyped up. His British accent bled through his words, making "sorry" "saw-ee." He carefully released one hand and, once sure that the excited dog wouldn't rush off again, patted her on the head. You're d*mn idiotic but I love you.

Taylor Rae
Taylor manoeuvred her way out of the busy streets of her place to the somewhat quieter and cleaner patches of grass and long-steamed grains and such that surrounded the sides of the grey road.
It had taken her little time to pack all her things; after-all, her car was basically one of her most familiar spaces to be accommodated to, and she already had many of the things in there.
She just needed to put her guitar, some clothes, and some other tidbits here and there in the back or the trunk of the car.
In-front of her, she spotted a silver car, and she wondered if the person driving it was going to the Ranch like she was. They seemed to be going the same way, and there was only one other car in sight before that silver car.
Taylor was very excited; she absolutely loved horses and the like and she couldn't wait to start her life at this welcoming Ranch.
She had read in the letter sent to her that a someone would be taking care of her while she there, and she was unsure of who would be taking care of her.
Taylor was twenty-one years old; she felt like she didn't need someone to take care of her since she moved out at twenty, but then again, it'd be nice to have someone to talk to and have company with.
She hoped the person that would be at the Ranch was nice, and not like the mean girls at her high-school.
Pretty soon the car in-front of her tickered and she looked up, seeing that they had turned into the Ranch, and she spotted the sign:

Life Goes On Ranch:
Everheart Property

With her mouth a little open, she tickered as well and followed the car, observing all. It seemed that there were visitors, maybe?
Even though the Ranch sign didn't look all that inviting, the Ranch itself was very pretty and wide-open-spaced.
She loved it already, and hoped that that wouldn't change.

Logan Ty Leven
Logan pulled into the Life Goes On Ranch with ease.
He enjoyed driving; it was comfortable for him and he really did love his car that his parents got for him when he was sixteen years old.
When he pulled in, he noticed a worn-out sign, with some wood chipped in some places.
He cocked his head before pulling into a parking space, with the back of his car facing the white fence that outlined the Ranch.
The Ranch itself looked great, other than the sign, everything looked ship-shape and ready to go.
He smiled to himself as he got out of the car, noticing another car pull in with a curly-haired blonde in the driver's seat.
She parked right beside him and got out as well, admiring the view of the Ranch.
"Looks great, huh?" said Logan, also taking a look with his hands in his pockets.
The girl nodded. Logan noticed that she was very tall. He felt like a shorty compared to her. "Looks soo pretty." She smiled up at the Ranch, then to the sky and the fields around them. She had a nice voice, and she seemed like a nice person. Perhaps they could be friends?
Logan walked over to her quickly. "Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Logan." He stuck out a hand to shake.
"Taylor." smiled Taylor, shaking his hand. "Are you a visitor here, or a family member of something?"
"Huh? No, no, I thought maybe you were a family member or something." said Logan, a surprised look on his face. "No, I'm here because I got accepted into this Ranch from a letter I sent. What are you doing here?"
"Same thing as you." said Taylor, eyeing him. They both dropped their hands. "That's really interesting. Is it just us two then, or is there more?" she asked him, quite curious.
"I have no idea. That's weird. I thought it was just gonna be me." shrugged Logan. "No offense."
"None taken." laughed Taylor putting her hands up. "I thought the same thing."
The two laughed for a few seconds, then Logan said, "I guess we just carry our things in? Or should we go see if we can find the person taking care of this place?"
"Let's go meet the person, first." said Taylor, locking her car. Logan did the same.
"Awesome. Let's go!" replied Logan, giving her a bright smile, which Taylor returned.

(( If anyone wants to RolePlay with my characters, they are absolutely welcome to do so :) ))
