I nodded and gave a quick half-smile as I continued to drag myself up the tree. She gracefully leapt from her branch and landed on the ground. I gave an impressed nod, though no one could see it, before bringing myself up and over the last few branches.

"Hello!" she called, "Dude who was by the tree! Come on!"

"Please come with me to the tree, it's the safest place," she glanced at the dog, "and I - and the other dude - could use your help."

He threw his flick blade up in the air ad caught it. " Why do you need me? I'm useless."

When I reached the top branch I sat on it with my legs dangling below me. It felt uneasy and unsettling as I looked down and saw how high up I was. I shuddered at the thought of falling. Wait, how would I get down? Crap. I'd be stuck up in a tree for the rest of my life.
