Abby sat down and smiled "It's okay. Maybe someday you can see your brother again" she said optimistically "It could happpen"

Savannah stared outside, She looked at the bobby pin in her hand. He just doesn't understand... We can be his family She thought. She put the bobby pin back into her hair and walked to the opening of the cave. "I'm going on a walk, Brett make sure to keep an eye out for Abby and Jake. Let no one else leave the cave alone I'll be right back" She walked out and started to wonder around. She looked off into the distance and saw flashlights. Police... sh thought. She started to walk backward then she ran back to the cave. "The police! They're coming! We need to get out of here and find Abby and Jake, before they do" Savannah grabbed Brett's hand and pulled him.

He looked up hearing the police. He stood up. " Abby. Go back and be quite about it. Leo go with Abby. Blue. Stay with me."

Savannah
Savannah pulled Brett out of the cave. "I saw Jake go that way, maybe Abby i with him. Come on!" She pulled him in the direction that Jake went. "We need to find them before they do, or we're on our own" She said. She began to think about what Jake said. That he missed his family. Then she thought about Abby, knowing how upset Brett would really be without her. Her eyes began to water. We can't loose them, we can't! "Come one hurry!" She was no full out crying. Her head was throbbing and she couldn't think anymore. She let go of his hand. "Go find them, I'll try and distract the police, lead them away from you guys" Her heart was racing. "Please go, If I get caught they might leave... and won't look for you guys here... Please hurry" She said, backing away. she fell and couldn't get up. Maybe if I just stay here they'll find me and take me away, and leave them alone... Maybe if I just stay She thought. She knelt down and just sat there crying.

Abby heard the police too her eyes widened but she nodded and followed his instructions

Brett
Brett's heart was pounding where was his sister she said she would be right back "I'm sure she is fine" he thought to himself following savanah untill she knelt to the ground "Come on get up!" he yelled at her eventually he just picked her up and ran

Savannah looked at him, tears still streaming down her face. I...I told him to go... Why didn't he leave me? She thought. "Put me down, I need to get them away from you guys" She said, she tried to get out of his arms, but failed. "I want to protect you!" She said, a little louder.

"You want to protect Me? I am 19 I can protect myself" he growled "now stay still your slowing us down"

Savannah
"Not only you! Everyone! Now put me down! If I'm slowing you down, then you go safe yourself, let me go!" She started to struggle. She couldn't let them even come near to getting caught. If she could stop it, she would. She finally got out of his arms and ran, ran towards the police. She fell,. this time not insight of Brett. He better not come after me, he needs to find them and I hope he knows that She thought sitting on the ground. The police were heading towards the cave they just left. She could see them running. "We're not in there anymore" She whispered.

Brett ran after her "Savanah! **** you we could of all escaped!" he said pulling the gun he took from a house he and Abby raided and pointed it at the police mumbling curses under his breath
