Jani furrowed her brow and her eyes went soft when she heard him say that.."I.. Cant remember either, I wish I did." Jani had heard of Lobotomy's and just the sound of them scared her. "But then I wouldn't hear your voice ever again, or see your smile.." she looked down.

I'd be in piece of mind though... "I know... I just wish sometimes..." I muttered knowing I probably shouldn't have mentioned a lobotomy. When she said that she wouldn't be able to hear my voice or see my smile,that took me back a little bit. She must really like me. Thing is.. I rarely ever smile. Today was pribably the most I've smiled in five years combined.

I nodded a little bit and sighted a little bit looking at her, "I wish this never happened to anyone. No one should go through all this." I said softly and they all laughed at me. I closed my eyes again trying I ignore them. I felt bad that I kept doing this to her... I'd go into super depressing mode, and refuse to come out of it for awhile... I didn't want her to be depressed because of me.

Jani looked down, she wished there was something she could do for him, seeing him like this made her want to see him smile more then anything."Rilee..?" She said softly, still looking down. "Can I tell you something?" She looked back at him her golden eyes had a sort of glow to them.

I opened my eyes and looked at her. I nodded subtly and looked into her eyes, "Ya. Sure anything." I replied and kept my eyes on her.

Jani hesitated for a moment.. "I..." She sighed and looked down, not knowing whether to tell him or not. "I.. Like you..Kind of a lot.." she said softly. Jani's face flushed and she went white, she had never straight forward told anyone she liked them, especially to there face. Her cheeks turned a light red as she started thinking about what she had just said.

I looked at her, a little bit surprised, but not surprised, and...happy. I hadn't felt this happy in god knows how long. I smiled a little bit at her words, "I like you a lot too, Jan." I replied truthfully. I did have feelings for her actually. Who knew that even the people who are sent to an asylum, can find someone for them. Someone who cares about them like this.

Jani looked at him and smiled as he smiled. "I.." she didn't know what to say. She had never told someone that and have them say it back. This time she really meant it when she said she liked him. She honestly had never felt like this for someone. The thought of finding someone you really like in an asylum had never crossed her mind. Jani thought she would be alone forever because of this place. Jani pulled him into a hug "You don't know how happy I am that you feel the same way too.."
