He stuck his tounge out at her and then charged down the beach oposite the direction his parents went in. He wagged his tail, telling Akari to come and play.

Akari Wags her tail and wiggles out of the bulky clothes,bolting off after Drake.

He looked back at her and laughed. He barked at her and kept running.

Akari's long legs let her easily catch up to Drake,she smiles and leaps over him onto a little ledge.

He looked up at her as they ran and his gaze sofened as he looked at her. The light sparkled on her beautiful red coat and he marvled at her. Then, there was a snap and Drake fell on the ground, yelping in pain.

Akari skids to a stop and runs back to Drake,Whimpering."Are you ok??"

Drake howled with pain. He had stepped on a stick and it snapped, causing his to trip and fall on a big,sharp, knife like rock that stabbed him through the side. The rock was impaled deep inside of his side and he howled even louder. King Nix and Queen Hellena heard him and came charging up the beach.

Akari pins get ears back,"Hold still..." She didn't care about what it would look like but she shifts into her human form and quickly digs the rock out,shifting back and pressing huge leaves down on the wound to stop the bleeding.

Nixon got there first, thankfully after Akair had phased and phased back. "What happened?" he asked, worried about his son.
