NOT Peyton embaressingly looked down at the keys, pressinh a few keys lightly..

Xanther tried to smile but instead her looked down nervously. "Sorry, my mom taught mensome romance songs without telling me. She only told me the song names but not what type they were." Xanther looked down as she pushed a few keys gently. He looked down the row, wondering what he should play again or if he should play some other melody or lullaby he hasn't played yet.

Peyton looked back up at Xanther, "Well if you want to play a romance song.. then i guess you can." she said her cheeks a light pink. "I mean it doesnt matter to me. .." Peyton spoke quietly. She fiddled with a bracelet that was sitting on her wrist. It was a charm bracelet. It had the charms of a key, a heart, a letter 'P', a music note, piano keys, and wings. It was from her dad when she was 13. She shook out of her thoughts and looked back at Xanther her grayish blue eyes looking at him softly, waiting for his answer.

Xanther looked over at Peyton with anervous smile. "Um...okay. I'lll play one I guess. For now..." Xanther placed his fingers on the keys, his arms shaking very little, for this was the second time he played to Peyton but with her not playing back, so far. He took a deep breath before his fingers began to press the keys.

Peyton looked down at Xanther hands as he began to play the song. She shifted her gaze to Xanthers face, and she slowly began to smile. He was very good at playing, no doubt..and she really wanted to just jump in and begin to play with him. But she held back and just continued to watch.

Xanther continued playing, his gaze turning towards Peyton. He looked at her eyes, a smile forming on his face. He looked at her for a moment before looking back at his fingers, making sure they were on the right track. He kept the smile on his face, looking up at the cieling and dreaming of many better things that could have been happening right now with him. He closed his eyes, his head coming down.

Peyton's grayish blue eyes, watched him carefully. She smiled again, while moving her hand onto the keys, not pressing them.. just touching them lightly while. Peyton hoped that everything was better between them. and that all the awkwardness was gone, and all the harm and pain left as well.. She shook the painful thoughts of when she found Xanther with the knife out of her head. Its over.. everything is fine... right?
