Riley

Riley turned around to face the school. So this is where I'll be spending the next year of my life. The building seemed bigger, scarier somehow, after he had rushed his mom to leave, telling her he was fine, he'd find his room and stuff on his own. Now he wasn't so sure he could do that. He hadn't brought much stuff with him; just one rolling suitcase and a duffel bag, so he picked his luggage up and started for the main building. Hoepfully he'd run into someone who could show him where he was supposed to go.

The willow it weeps today
A breeze from the distance is calling your name
Unfurl your black wings and wait
Across the horizon it's coming to sweep you away
It's coming to sweep you away
Ƙяʏρт's the name.

I looked around the
area for a second, still kind of out if it, and a little bit sleepy still from just waking up no more than a half hour ago or so, "um..." I said and then turnempd my attention to her, "no, I'm not from anywhere around here actually. I'm from New York. My accent kind of.. Well... Ya, my accent is horrible." I said chuckling slightly as I spoke. I hated my accent. I couldn't pronounce anything he way it was supposed to be pronounced. Most things with an 'o' ended up sounding like 'aw' like dog... That sounded like dawg, or coffee sounded like cawfee. New York accents were... Just eh. If there was a contest for worst accent, New York would win. I'm not saying that it sounds horrible or anything, just the grammar we use and pronunciation isn't good at all. And ontop of it all, most of the time we're speaking faster than most people do.

~•~Cheyanne Blaise Parker~•~

Cheyanne had just finished packing before starting her old Hummer H1, pulling out of her driveway to hit the highway towards Colorado. The reason for leaving, you may ask? School. Easton Academy: School of the Arts. Her dream school since she could study cinematography and screenplay, the two majors that have always been her desired career path. While rolling down the highway, she turned on the radio to hear I Stand Alone by Godsmack begin to play and she rolled down her window to let the music flood the vehicle. All she had was packed in the backseat, two rolling suitcases and a backpack with some stuff to hang up in her dorm. The color she chose to highlight her room with was a deep lavender and some posters from back home of local bands. Along the way she had to fill up twice before finally pulling up in the school's parking lot.

Once parker, Cheyanne got out of her car and retrieved her purse from the passenger floorboard. Her outfits consisted of deep blue denim jeans, a black t-shirt that slightly clung to her small frame, a black hoodie, and converse. Soon enough she pulled her hair up into a bun before moving to the back of the H1 to remove her suitcases and backpack from it. Before she knew it she closed up the vehicle and Locke it, making her way towards the school to pick up her schedule and dorm key.

Riley

Riley made it through the large front doors of the school. Man, this place was big. He paused in the entryway to scan the room. Repositioning his duffel bag on his shoulder, he tried to decide which way to go. Finally, he spotted a sign.
Sign in this way, with a big arrow pointing down the hallway to the right. Flicking his shaggy brown hair out of his eyes, Riley picked his lanky body across the large room and towards the hallway the sign pointed at. He glanced over his shoulder. Where is everyone? he wondered. The place should be crawling with students. Maybe he was late? At this thought, he picked up the pace towards the sign in table.

Discovering she was not, in fact, late, Aria finally made it to the front doors of the school. To her surprise, the hall was deserted save for one boy with sandy brown hair, and he seemed to be as lost as she. She noticed the sign proclaiming Sign in this way at the same time he seemed to, and thought it would be best simply to follow. She struggled for a moment with the decision whether or not to catch up and try to talk to him, and then did a little run to close the gap between them. Unfortunately, that also involved falling and dropping all her things onto the ground.

(OOC: If you don't want to RP with me, I'll just delete it.)

Riley

Whipping his head around at the sound of a crash, Riley turned to see a girl on the ground. His brain moved fast as he decided he'd never seen the girl before. She was quite pretty, though.
"Are you ok?!" he asked, offering his hand to help her to her feet. He hadn't seen the fall, but judging by the sound it made she couldn't be feeling too good right about now.
