"alrighty then.." dominic said and walked oyt of the room down the hall.

Amber-
i sigh after he leaves the room, i turn the tv off and tear up from pain. i didn't want to show how much it hurt around him, i press the button and the nurse comes in. i ask her to take me to my bed and she does. i lay looking out the window.

Dominic finally got his chocolate milkshake and french fries. He was still limping but he was good enough to walk on his own.

i close my eyes and fall asleep, as the nurse strokes my hair lightly.

Domninic made it back to his bed in one piece drinking his milkshake. He noticed Amber had moved and he sighed. Dominic climbed back into bed and laid down watching her.

i lay my head on the nurses stomach, as she strokes my hair. like my mom did before she disapeared from the hospital.

Dominic watched the two and felt like he should be the one doing that yet he left for his own needs. He felt like he had failed and let out a long deep sigh.
