Charlie watched her walk away silently. After he couldn't see her anymore, he let out a sigh and tugged on Faith's hand. " Tea.. " he said in a quiet voice, begining to pull her along again. What exactly was wrong with Chloe recently? She seemed a little more distant to the rest of them, it was slightly frightening. Maybe he'd talk to her later, she acted like she needed a talking to. He shook his head, pushing the thoughts to the back of his mind. He stopped by the doorway that led to the kitchen, seeing Jacob and Ashtyn in there.

Mason seemed oddly unhappy to see Ashtyn leave. Whatever, if he wanted to be a debby downer that was his decision. Shrugging, Aerie next to him on the floor, and then leaned back against his side, her arms arching over her stomach with her palms on the other side of him, propping herself up. Mason was a good foot taller than her, which was always something she appreciated about him. Maybe eleven or ten inches, actually. Just... quite taller. It was excellent for piggy back rides. Turning to him, Aerie smiled mischievously. "Say, what if we gave Ashtyn a little surprise when she came back?" Mischief was a color Aerie wore well.

{Ashtyn and JC are in the kitchen, Chloe's wandering around, Aerie and Mason are in the living room, and I thiiink Charlie and Faith are in the lounge? I think I got everyone.}

After walking for a moment, Chloe found Mason and Aerie chatting away. "Hey guys," she started. "I don't want to interrupt the conversation, but JC asked me to see how many pancakes everyone wanted. " With her hands clasped behind her back, she waited on their answer. I wonder how JC's doing,anyways?

Awesome, he'd snapped out of it. Shrugging, Aerie grinned. "Dunno. We could, like, sabotage one of her hoodies or something." As far as she remembered, Ashtyn really liked those hoodies. However, a disturbance came in the form of Chloe arriving on the crime scene. Oops. Grinning up at her from the ground, Aerie shrugged. "I guess two. If I'm more hungry I'll just eat a grapefruit." She was small and didn't need to eat much, though she had no qualms about eating in front of others. Her friends did often make fun of her eating grapefruit for breakfast, saying things like 'ooooh, on a grapefruit diet?' She just brushed them off -- they were only teasing her and she knew it, besides, she liked the fruit. It was sweet yet tangy! What's not to love. "Want to come hang out or d'you have to report to JC?" Aerie asked. "We're planning on getting back at Ashtyn for hitting us with pillows. Right Mason?" Aerie nudged Mason gently.

She closed her eyes to remember the numbers, then opened her eyes. "Oh, um, I have to go tell JC the numbers and stuff. Sorry. Why was Ashtyn hitting you with pillows, anyways? That doesn't seem like her." she asked. Honestly, she didn't know Mason, Aerie, or Ashtyn very well; Charlie, Faith, and JC were enough friends for her. She mentally shrugged, deciding that she would eventually get to know them, but not now. 'Kay, so, yeah. Bye for now." she said a touch awkwardly, and strided towards the kitchen. Hopefully she didn't take too long.

Aerie rolled her eyes, leaning back onto Mason from her slightly more attentive position when Chloe entered as he affirmed what she'd said. "Who ever knows why Ashtyn does something?" Aerie chuckled, curling up onto her side with her head on his stomach. He smelled like clean-boy smell, but she wasn't going to tell him that -- it was probably only 'cause she'd done the laundry for him, anyway. "Ewww, you smell nasty." Aerie wrinkled her pert nose. This was somewhat undermined by the fact that her face didn't really budge. "Ciao, Chlo." Aerie called down the hall. "How long do you think those pancakes are gonna take? I'm starved." This time, she adressed Mason.

{{Ashtyn smiled, slipped aside over to the kitchen sink, turning on the water and washing it under it. "Listen, Jacob..." She mumbled, trailing off, turning off the water, and turning to him. "I know about your little camera thing." She whispered, hoping no one else would hear. "But I swear to god. I won't tell." Ashtyn promised, expecting to cover up the lie for him.
