Tori was glad that Louis overlooked her mistake and did not get angry or anything. At first, she was afraid that he would let his anger get out of control and throw a tantrum or something. Now, Tori felt foolish and guilty about even thinking of that; Louis was not that kind of person. In fact, she was not surprised when she felt an arm wrap around her in a comforting hug. Tori quickly returned it while replying gratefully, "I'm really relieved to hear that. Thank you." Responding to something that would normally annoy a person by acting friendly was something that Tori would not ignore, and she was glad that she had a chance to acknowledge that. However, Tori wanted to make sure that would not happen again, so she gingerly placed the water gun on the dry surface. "I had a wonderful time, but how about we do something else for now?" she asked.

Louis- "Do you want to get out of the pool?" he asked not knowing if she meant get out completly, or just do something else like float around. "I am cool with anything you wanna do...however, you are the guest." he said with a kind smile. He walked over to the side of the pool set his gun there, and pulled him self up, letting his legs wade in the water. As he pulled himself up, the muscles in his biceps rippled. He patietly waited for a response and he slowly kicked his feet back and forth in the cool blue water that made his pale blue eyes stad out.

To be honest, Tori was starting to get slightly cold, although the pool was heated and originally the perfect temperature. It was probably from being in the water so long, so she nodded at Louis' question and replied, "Yes, that might be a good idea, but I would love to come back." She had the most fun in a while from splashing in the water and shooting targets that she thought could only entertain children under the age of ten until she actually tried it for herself. Now, she realized why Louis never wanted to grow up and promised the fans he would stay his playful, mischievous self and be forever young. Ready to do whatever else Louis had to offer, Tori got out of the pool and sat on the edge with her feet dangling in the water while she patiently waited for Louis' response.

Louis- Louis looked at her noticing she looked a bit cold, "Here, let me get you a towel." he said getting up and walking over to the closet and taking out a blue and white striped towel. Lou walked back over to her sticking it over your shoulders, "I got the thickest one, it is my favourite because it is so warm." he said with a kind smile, his blue eyes popping out because of the water. The water was still and you could here the birds singing outside of the windows. "It is a little bit cold." he said standing up and walking over to the closet and grabbing a thin British flag towel. He wrapped it around himself and sat down next to her, and let his legs dangle into the warm-cool water.

Tori blinked when she heard him mention that he was going to get her a towel. No one had really been this kind for her since she was a child and her father was still around or the several times she and her ex went swimming together. After both of them vanished from her life, she was used to being independent and having to do things for herself or not getting them done at all. Tori liked having the ability to take care of herself and control her own life, but it felt much nicer to know that Louis cared enough to do something for her. As a bonus, it went from kind and thoughtful to extremely sweet and caring when he picked his favorite towel, one of thickest and, therefore, warmest. "Thank you so much," she said with a smile shining on her lips. Tori used one hand to keep her towel wrapped around her body that was no longer shivering while her other rested on the cement, next to Louis'. In this position, she felt a peaceful feeling overcome her, and it felt wonderful. Tori was not sure if it was from listening to the gorgeous melody of the chirping birds composing a symphony or simply being in Louis' presence. Whatever it was, she was having a marvelous time and wanted to stay in this moment forever.

Louis- "Your welcome, I like helping people when I can." he said smiling, "See, most people yell at me and say 'I can do it myself' in a rude way." a small grin wiped across his face as they sat there next to each other. He had just met her, and already he did not want the year to end. This day had been so good so far. They got on a plane to come home, meets this beautiful girl, -that is not fangirling him-, she likes carrots, and she seems pretty nice. The big puffy clouds passed overhead covering the sun up for small moments at a time. Louis looked over at her and smiled, happy to see that she wasn't as cold as she had been.

Tori was glad to hear that he felt good about helping her as well. That's the thing, helping others positively affects the person being helped and the one that is doing the assisting, too. It makes both of them have a warm, bubbly feeling inside that would not be worth all the gold in the world. Thus, she replied with a smile, "I hate when that happens, so I would never do that. I actually like it when people do things to help others. It makes them seem... I don't know. Caring, if you want to put it that way." When she finished speaking, Tori realized that she gave him a blunt, crystal clear compliment, not even one that was the slightest vague. She almost opened her mouth to take it make in some way but almost immediately stopped. Louis had every right to be praised for what he had done, and she wanted him to know how much it meant to her.

Louis- Since she had seemed a little bit shy at first, he had not expected her to say that. But he was glad she did, it made him feel so good about himself. He inched a little bit closer to her, and put his arm around her shoulder. "I don't know if you realize it, but those are the most beautifully said words, I have ever heard anybody say to me." he said smiling and looking at her as he said it. He was still blown away by what she had just said. He was telling the truth, "They really mean alot to me." he continued to wade his feet in the water.

Tori rested her head on his shoulder in a friendly way, but she was smiling a bit too much for that. It was a mixture of friendship, pure joy, and something she just could not manage to describe. Whatever it was, she was delighted to be in that moment and glad that he also responded her statement with another compliment, and it was d*mn sweet. "Thanks... I'm happy to hear that," she responded with a soft smile. Her gaze drifted up to him, and her eyes seemed to sparkle brighter than the stars in the night sky. To be honest, nobody ever said that to her really, and it truly felt good to hear it. In the end, they both were amazed by each other and left with a lingering content, comfortable feeling.
