I wonder if they'd mind me trying to sneak some beer from my house.... Jinx thought to herself, having a weird crave for some alcohol, just on of the many illegal things she was hooked on. Being totally dazed, she wasn't aware of anything going on; the conversations, Jasper not being here, and Jack lighting a cigarette.
That's when she snapped back - she literally snapped her head to glance where the smakey smell was coming from. She watched the lighter pop out a orange flame and onto the white paper, then she realized why he'd thrown it out, stepped on it, and walked away. She turned her head after Jack and felt in her back pocket where her trusty cigarettes and lighter where always hidden behind her phone. Rose had a spazm to move her hand back to make sure she hadn't forgotten them at home, and luckily they were still there. When they starting walking off to go trick-or-treating, she hung around the back, hoping for Jack to walk with her so she could hand him another cigarette, and light it for him. She honestly didn't want to be the only one smoking in that group, and it would be a kind offer from Rose, right? Right, because sometimes she liked to be nice.... Or flirt, but either way they would be walking and smoking together.
Click, click, click, were the sounds of Dixie's shoes against the sidewalk as she walked behind the eight friends. Still dazed, she almost walked off without them if it wasn't for a loud, "Trick-or-treat!" from Liana. She holted to a stop and walked up behind them, cursing under her breath. She'd forgotten something to put her candy in, and all she had was pockets. And Rose certainly wasn't going to put candy in her beanie that kept her hair from frizzing, and plus the hat matched her and not the candy she would murder later that night with nothing but her teeth.
