Rose sighed for no reason then, and then thought of Jack's voice as a competition. "Oh, I'm deffinatly going in. Anything tries to scare me I can burn them with meh lighter," she explained when Jack came back from his bike along with some flashlights, that were a pretty good idea, actually. After realizing that Jake had mocked them she just stared at the boy with a sugar rush, and slowly puffed out a cloud of smoke his way, ptting as much enthusiasm as she could into her blow.
She acted as if she was almost a little..... Stoned, like she'd been doing drugs all day. But she hadn't recalled anything but this cigarette, but then again she hadn't gone to sleep the night before. And she couldn't remember why, but she did know that if you did a lot of drugs you would stay up and probably forget, so that was the conclusion she came too; she'd done something the night before and had forgotten, simple as pie.
Dixie fallowed the others down the dark path with only the two cigarettes that were lit and Jack's flashlight, and she figured that as much light as possible would be better. She brought up her lighter and lit it again, checking the over-grown weeds that were surrounding her. Why would anyone want to make a path like this? Hasn't anyone heard of class? Rose asked herself in her head, being careful not to talk out loud and seem like a fool. Thoughts are ment to be kept in your mind, and that's what Rose stood by.
