Tori heard the bedroom door slam shut as well, and she let out a sigh, half out of relief that he was gone and half out of annoyance that he had to close-- slam the door so hard. She turned her attention back to Tom when she heard him suggest that they could go ice skating. Tori agreed with a soft smile, "Yes, that sounds great." She always loved what his suggestions, and ice skating was especially wonderful. Although she was born in California and grew up there, Tori still adored ice skating and was actually quite talented. The more she thought about it, the more she felt excitement rise, for how could she not be happy excited to go ice skating with Tom? However, her dreams about how wonderful their trip would turn out faded when her gaze landed on the mug that was still in her hand. "Hang on, let me grab my skates and wash out my mug before we leave," Tori called before she briskly paced to the kitchen. Once she thoroughly rinsed out the coffee mug, she returned to Tom and picked up the pearl white skates that were lying next to the front door. Tori asked with an evident smile still resting on her lips, "Shall we go?"
