Dear Mom and Dad,

I'm not happy here and if you paid attention to me then maybe you would realize that. Dad is always away at "work" and mom is so strict that I can't live my life. I'm a teenager. I'm supposed to do stupid things and make mistakes. How else am I supposed to learn? I can't live here anymore. I was bound to run away some day and you knew it, but did nothing to prevent. Making my curfew 8 o'clock and locking everything isn't protecting me. I found a place to live already and I even have a job, so don't worry about me. I'm taking the cat because he is the only one who listens. Maybe I'll see you again in the future. Maybe not.

Your Child

Your life has been far from perfect wether your parents are too strict or maybe abusive. Whatever is going wrong you aren't happy. One day you got a plan in your head when the carnival comes to your town. People run away to join the carnival all the time in the movies. You sneak out and talk to the Head Carnie about running away and joining. It took some convincing, but they even agreed to give you a job. You went home that night and in packed. In the morning you wrote a note and left. Once at the carnival you have to create a new identity for yourself and give yourself a makeover to fit in. If the police are sent to look for you you don't want to be found. You are given a job and soon discover more teens like you are staying here. Now there is one major perk to running away. The carnival only stays up to a week at one place, so you are constantly moving. Are you ready to become a carnie?

Rule One. Listen to the Head Carnie.The head carnie is not the owner, but was put in charge to keep everything going good. If you misbehave he has the right to kick you out of the Carnival and you will be forced to return to your parents unless you are eighteen or older. The Head Carnie, Bernie, roams the grounds and is constantly checking up on you.
Rule Two. No Leaving the Carnival Grounds.You may only leave the grounds after work hours if you are eighteen or older and you may only be gone for one hour. Anyone missing will be removed from the program and sent home. Don't worry about clothes or health products because those will be provided. During work you will be required to wear a uniform and you will be given t-shirts and jeans and pajamas to wear at night.
Rule Three. No Giving Away Your Real Identity.You are here to get away from your old life, so don't bring it up. If you tell a soul then word could get out and then the authorities could be coming the next day to drag you home. As it is you will be given a new name and a makeover. Don't even mention your past to another carnie during work hours. Keep it at night and alone.
Rule Four. No Leaving Your Post.You are here to do a job, so do not leave your post. If you can't be trusted to work then we can't be trusted to keep your secret. Simple as that.
Rule Five. No Pregnancies.If you get pregnant then you will be sent home. Boys and girls may room together, but there is no dating. I trust that you can follow this rule.
Rule Six. Look Happy.We want business and you want a paycheck, so you can put a smile on if it kills you. No cursing at your station or losing your cool. If you want to be spiteful and dramatic then save it for after hours.

Rule One. Keep it PG-13. Follow Tess's rules. That means no sexual content. Kissing is okay, but no removing the other character's clothes or anything that you wouldn't want little kids to read. Time skip if you must go that far. Also I don't want to see curse words on her. If I read the 'f' word, I will report you and erase you from the role-play. I'm okay if you star out the vowels. You can also only curse once every page if you are addicted to those naughty words. If I have to I will create a swear jar!
Rule Two. This is Semi-Literate. I'm going to call this semi-lit, but I'm not that tough to please. I do expect a paragraph, but to me a paragraph is only six detailed sentences. Try to keep them detailed, but I know things get hard when your muse is missing. We all get writers block, so I understand. Another thing is, I want you to make your form and posts as pretty as possible. I'm always on my iPod, so I know it can be time-consuming. Even centering it makes a big difference. No using fontmeme.com to make your posts pretty. It is considered spam and it's a no no.

Carnie. You are at the bottom of the Carnival todem pole. You man the rides and booths. You can choose from the fastest spinning rides to the tea cups to the duck pond. Be kind. 0 out of 10
Psychics. Psychics aren't real and neither are you. You just have to have a good imagination. Just look and act the part. Must be female. 0 out of 5
Dancer. We only accept amazing dancers with a background in the art. You perform at the parade on Monday and then at a small concert each night. You wear costumes at all times. When you aren't performing you are expected to walk around and take pictures in costume and talk up the carnival. Must be female. 2 out of 5
Guard. Two of you will stand at the gates while the others roam the grounds and keep things in like. Must be male. 0 out of 8
Mechanic. You MUST have experience with fixing cars or machines. We expect you to be a college drop out of atleast eighteen. 0 out of 5
