Quickly putting away her scant belongings away in the closet Ava thought about going to the pool but quickly banished the thought. She wanted fresh air and space…even though she was born to swim, sometimes a girl needed solid ground. Tying her hair back Ava quickly changed into a pair of comfortable sweat pants and a soft blue t-shirt. Walking out of her room she marked the spot on the map and slipped it into her back pack. She’d seen the foot ball field outside and thought that, that was a good place to do some ‘dry land’ training.

I walked packed away my belongings and walked outside, my laptop in it's case which was slung over my shoulder. My long, curly brown hair was out and falling to just above my waistline. I wore a white tank top and some tights. My flash drive was wrapped around my neck. I went down to the football field and sat on the stands, turning on my laptop and plugging in my flash drive. I smiled as my fingers skimmed the keyboard and words appeared on the page before me. I proofread what I had just typed and edited, fixing errors and adding more drama.It wasn't long until I needed a break. My head was getting sore from thinking. I had put my character in a position I had to really think to get them out of. I shut down my laptop and packed it away. I sighed, putting my head in my hands, massaging my temples gently.

Mood: Meh.

Dream: Becoming a horror author
