You’ve worked hard and now your almost there, you’ve finally gotten into the school for the gifted, most only ever hope to get in but somehow all your hard work has payed off and now your almost there.
The one thing that has never deterred you is love. It’s something you never thought of or even dreamed of having but what happens when and if you find it? Will you give up on your dream? Or will you forget about that special someone?

“Welcome to Luther Academy.”

-the school is located in Vancouver, B.C.

-there are six different systems each with their own main subject; Art, Performance, Dance, Music, Athletics and Written Word.

-For the general classes {math, science, social} the groups are mixed but for the afternoon you have a two hour block for you to focus on your dreams

-Every friday is a half day, in the afternoon there is a showcase of talents and achievements

-Violence, skipping class, failing courses are all considered grounds for dismissal, your here because you work hard, once your in you need to keep it up.

Family:I am the last of my family that I know of. My parents and my brother died in a car crash. I was sent to go live with distant relatives. I'm pretty sure they are third cousins.

Significant Memories:I can't get the night of the crash out of my head. I replay that moment, over and over. That crash messed up my head, and I can't really remember anything before that. The doctors say it's permanent.

Ava is an introvert, it’s not a bad, terrible thing it’s just who she is. People drain her energy very fast so she hates going to crowded places such as malls and touristy places. She actually prefers reading books and admiring the beauty of things, from a nice and quiet spot of course. Given this first impression most people think of her as cold, rude and uncaring…but whoever though of first impressions as important?
Voice. That’s what her first name means, maybe her parents gave her that name in the hopes that she would be one of those girls who would speak up for themselves and others. Sadly, giving someone a name doesn’t mean that they’ll live up to that name. Ava doesn’t like to bother people with her inner turmoil, she just grins and bears it, grins and bears it, hoping that it will all just go away if she does.
Diminutive. Smaller than something. Sure Ava has always thought that her mother, Isabel, gave her that middle name to prove that she is in fact weaker and smaller than her. But that’s not how Ava acts, she believes that it’s only a name, a name that she hates. She will rally against anyone who tells her what to do. She is not weak.
Pure. Sweet innocent, sure Ava isn’t really very experienced in the world but she’s not naive. She’s taken care of herself for two years, yes, she had her aunts help but her aunt didn’t help all that much. If anything Ava tok care of her. She’s a very responsible but just like any teenager she gives into that feeling of fun and recklessness every now and again.

Ava was born into a family split in half, her father had run away with some secretary from his law firm before she was born. That wrecked havoc on her mothers confidence, she became like marble; frigid and controlling, everything had to be just so or it wasn’t perfect and if it wasn’t perfect then she made it so. Not to say she didn’t have any thing good in her life, on the contrary. She lived in a big house with lovely furniture, she has many friends that are all important to her, it’s just that sometimes her mother is too much to take.Luckily though she convinced her mother to let her live in Vancouver with her aunt, her aunt was a nurse at one of the hospitals and needed help running the house and work. So she moved, at the age of fifteen.

Well the day she remembers the most is the day she got accepted into a school…on the other side of Canada. Yeah, sounds corny right? Well she’d been…controlled by her mother for more years than you can count on your finger. This was her way of escaping into a place where she didn’t have to hide all of herself from everyone. True her mother hadn’t been very happy about it but it was still a very awesome day.

Her dad is leaving somewhere down in the U.S.A with some secretary from work. Ava’s mom is a lawyer with the supreme court, keeps her very busy and away from home.

Kaiya has shoulder length chestnut hair that has a mind of it’s own when it comes to waves and curls. Some girls have the advantage of having hair that doesn’t slip out of up do’s or hair that doesn’t blow all over the place when there’s a gust of wind. Those are the girls who can do all the fancy stuff with their hair, Ava keeps in simple with swimmer buns and ponytails, occasionally she will let her hair fall free but only on the rare occasion that she goes somewhere fancy. Her eyes are a warm brown that some people have called liquid honey. She loves this particular aspect of her face because you can’t see what she’s feeling unless she lets you, her eyes she has though, have always been her most attractive feature. Her skin is pale, much to her displeasure burns easily and is sprayed with freckles. Her creamy complexion has always been a bit too pale for Ava’s tastes, she hates the fact that she burns easily because it means less time outside and more inside trapped in four walls. Her body type is average, she’s 5’6” and weighs 124 lbs, true that’s small but her body type is average, she has curves but not too, too many.
She does have a few…’alterations’ her ears are pierced and she has a few tattoo’s this is on her back, this is on the inside of her fight wrist, this is on her ankle and this on her right shoulder.

Reserved. Quiet. Ava’s style is anything but that, it’s the way she expresses who she is and without her mother present it gives her a little more freedom. She likes to cut rips into her jeans and sewn on patches, she’ll turn even a plain white tee into a halter top with hand sewn designs on it. Her taste in shoes goes from combat boots to flats, it all depends where she is and what the status quo is.
