Marek sat on the ground outside his cabin, cross legged. He wondered why nobody felt like talking to him. Did he look frightening or something? Sure he was a little disheveled but that was how he always looked. He eyed the small pet carrier he'd loaded the small brown and white hamster Dr. Pepper in. The little creature was running back and forth, holding a huge carrot above his furry head like a trophy.

Maisie went into the cabin and threw her things on the top bunk. She then climbed up and sat there, determined to be stubborn and unfriendly for as long as possible. She figured she'd told to someone eventually, but would put it off as long as possible.
