Stevey slurped noisily on his mango smoothie he walked into the school building, trying to get every last drop of it. He knew, sadly, that he probably wouldn't be getting another one of his precious mango smoothies very soon.
He had been trying to savor the taste of it, but that was such a hard thing to do when it tasted so good.
He suddenly noticed how he didn't get anything out from the straw but air, and peered down at the Styrofoam cup through his dark shades. He frowned as he shook it, only heard the straw being rattled around. He sighed as he threw it in a nearby garbage can and placed a hand on the strap of his black satchel, trying to figure out what to do now as he stood there.
He glanced over the people that walked past him, deep in thought for a moment, before he remembered he had been signed up for a roommate this year. He looked around for the where the list that told them their who their roommates were, before he looked behind him, blinking, noticing he had went right past it when he had been too occupied with his smoothie.
Stevey glanced around a moment to see if anybody was staring at him, before he casually walked toward the sign like he hadn't past it at all and glanced over the list.
He ran his finger down it till he got to his room number and slid his finger to the right, seeing his name, along with someone else. He pulled his Ray Ban shades lower on his nose. Jayden Convex... Stevey looked at it thoughtfully, imagining a tall, brown haired guy with dark green eyes, slightly muscular, and grinned to himself and pushed his sunglasses higher on the bridge of his nose with his middle finger. This year might actually be fun for a change.

Stevey stopped in front of what he thought was his door, and pulled out his keys for confirmation. He glanced to them, before back to the door to see them match, before he slipped the key in and waited for a click.
When he opened his door, Stevey gave a quick glance around the room to take stock, seeing the plain, white walls, the flooring that was mostly that of a white carpeting, a dresser, and the bunk beds. Stevey also noticed another person's suit case on the ground. He tilted his head slightly to the left. He saw the bags, but not the person.
Maybe he was out, Stevey thought to himself as he let his own suitcase fall to the ground and walked over to the bunk beds and sat on the bottom one.
That was okay.
It meant he got to take the bottom bunk with no one to stop him.
