Hazel tugged at the bottom of her dress as she walked into the party, making sure it hadn't ridden up on the journey over. It wasn't the sort of thing the blonde would usually wear but her sister had insisted on her borrowing it when she came over to help Hazel get ready. Hazel preffered it when she had the team of people who helped her get ready for most events because they atleast respected the small grudge she held against very short dresses and skirts. The heels she wore also weren't really Hazel's thing but since coming to America and recieving a group of people who got her ready for premieres and the like she had become used to wearing heels and she didn't mind about heels as much as she did about the dress; with heels on she was the same height as most of her friends. Resisting running a hand through her hair, her sister had done that nicely too, she pushed past some people trying to take pictures, hiding her face with her hand. As Hazel reached the main party she spotted a few of the people who had worked on the film and others, whom she assumed were their friends. Smiling to herself, she made her way over to the bar, not going up to them just yet. The actress ordered a drink of lemonade, alcohol not really her thing and especially in the early afternoon.
Taking a sip she looked over at the group again reminding herself of the people she knew there; Brantley, Brandie and surely one of the other males was Archer. A singer or something. About the others Hazel had no idea. They hadn't been in the movie but then again she couldn't recognise them from any other recent movies either. The film the party was for had been fun to make, even if she had only sung one of the original songs written for it and had a part as one of 'Kayla's' - Brandie's - friends. It was a side project to the big feature film Hazel was starring in as the leading lady. Her keen eyes flashed away from the group and scanned the crowd, spotting some others who had worked on the movie and a few of the managers too. Most of the other people attending were strangers to her, but she knew them from the magazines her sister tried to educate her, about the media world, with. Returning back to looking at the group of people she knew the best, out of the corner of her eye, she wondered if she should go over. She didn't want to intrude on their conversation and she was quite shy when it first came to meeting new people, but she didn't want to sit at the bar like a loner for much longer.
