Jecka awoke to the sun shining right in her icy blue eyes through the blinds, which caused her to squint. She put her hand in the way of the path from the ray of light. Keeping her hand there, she stood and drew the curtains, then pulled the blinds up. Sunlight filled her room, making almost everything a light golden color. She groggily rubbed her sapphires and lazily walked into the bathroom which was attached to her large room. She lived alone, but she didn't always. When she first moved into the large house, she lived with her friend Briah, but she ended up leaving. Now, Jecka lived by herself in this lonely household.. She hated being left to be on her own, and it was really too bad. She was always too busy for company..
Jecka went to the bathroom, and while she was washing her hands, she looked at the brown beehive on her head. With water on her hands, she patted and brushed it down. It was wet, but down. She brushed out the small knots in her hair, then closed her eyes a moment and leaned on the counter. She hadn't been feeling very well, but that was tolerable. She was a photographer, and she needed to be places. She sniffled and sneezed, then grabbed the toilet paper and ripped a few pieces off and blew her beak. Throwing the used tissue in the trash, she grabbed another few pieces and blew her nose once more. She massaged her temples a moment before continuing on her daily morning routine. She grabbed her toothbrush and cleansed her teeth. She spit the foaming, bubbling mint-flavored toothpaste into the sink, then washed it out. She ran a brush through her hair again, then walked out of the bathroom and opened her closet. She looked through her clothes and picked out a shirt that was a mint green. It was loose and had a large pocket on the breast. The pocket, sleeves, and collar was lined with a dark brown, and the stripes on the shirt consisted of an off-white, creamy colour and mint green. She rolled the long sleeves up and smiled. She then pulled light, denim, high waist shorts over the shirt, then zipped the fly and buttoned it. She slipped a brown belt through the loops of the shorts and grinned as she noticed it matched the brown lining her shirt. She put on a flat shoe that had a base of brown and a decor of different colored flowers. She slipped wooden plugs in her her lobes and wandered to her desk. She picked up all her makeup supplies and stationed herself in front of the bathroom mirror. She set everything down, then grabbed up a liquid cover-up. With her middle and index finger, she massaged the makeup over her cheeks, chin, forehead, and everywhere else on her face. The picked up a powder and dabbed it delicately on her akin. She picked up a soft pink lipstick and applied it to her full lips, then rubbed a gloss over it, making it shine. She blinked mascara to her already thick, black eyelashes and smiled. Today, her makeup was actually being nice, and it settled perfectly on every dip and bone on her face. Her hair fell to her back, and behind her head she split her curls in half and pulled it over her shoulders. She popped her lips and brushed her bangs with her fingers. She skipped out the bathroom and down the hallway to the kitchen. She collected her light brown bag and snatched up granola bar. If she was going to make it to her destination in time, she needed to leave right now. She had to take pictures of celebrities backstage. Back there was her favorite, you got to actually talk to the famous person. She knew a lot of people that way, and she didn't mind that one bit.
