Orion's eyes had opened at record time, hastily making his way to the front door; his tail wagging eagerly. Kae just smiled, unlocking to door and walking out into the crisp morning air. She wrapped the leash around his wrist, just for precaution. Orion was a good and loyal dog, but if anything happened she didn't want him to get hurt, or become lost. Orion meant the world to her, as she never had quite the family.

Xaiver:
Xaiver brushed the fringe of black hair out of his eyes, smiling as he walked outside himself, his skateboard at hand. He decided he'd take a trip to the skate park instead of doing nothing that morning. He dropped the board down, stepping onto the deck and pushing off the cement. He turned and twisted, curving around corners and crossing streets.
