Riding dirt bikes is not only dangerous, it's fun. It's exhilarating, full of adrenaline, laughter

after a race, making enemies, making friends, and so much more. The sport is complex,

and takes practice, lots. Riders will go out and practice multiple times a week, but practice

is only half the part of winning. You need conditioning, to eat healthy, study both your

opponents and your bike. It's a sport where you become in touch with flying, for only

seconds at a time. Where the only rest you ever get, is once you are in the air. Your thighs

will burn, you will get arm pump, you will crash, but no matter what, you will always have fun.

The hardest part about such a sport is the relationships. Guys are always practicing, they trying to find as much time for their girls as they possibly can, but at the same time, they have bills to pay, and a dream to chase. Girls are always watching, watching there guys fall in a race, in practice. When they do fall, there heart sinks, there body wants to rush out after them, help them up, make sure they're OK, but all they can do is sit on the sidelines, hands over their mouth as they wait hopefully for them to get back up, and finish it - to the end.

Supercross is generally a smaller track race. It takes place on Saturday
nights and there are 2 heats in each class followed by a main event.
Each race can only hold 20 racers, and for each heat, only the top ten
can make it to the main event. In these weeks of racing, racers go
from state to state to race in this spot for points to win the
Championship for that year. The dirt is always brought into the
stadium, yes a stadium. These races are held inside, the
tack is built and finished by Thursday so racers can
practice and get comfortable with it on Friday and
Saturday, and then torn down on Sunday.

Motocross races are held on tracks that are permanent, meaning,
it isn't torn down after every race, like a supercross track is.
The track is longer, wider, and most of them have natural
terrain. A lot of outdoor tracks have hills and tricky sections,
like sand or off camber corners. They have some big jumps.
Motocross uses a 2 moto format. Like supercross, a rider
must qualify through a series of heat races. Like I said
before the motocross series uses a 2 moto format. The
winner is determined with the best overall score.

In both of these there are two different kinds of racing. There are the lites, which is when the 250's race, and then there is the 450's races, which is when the 450's race.

Note: You don't have to read all of this if you don't want to, it just might be a little helpful.

The Hole Shot is probably one of the most important parts of the race. This is where most of the crashes occur, riders running into one another, tapping other racers front tires with their back tires to make them slide out, riders tapping there front brake to make them fly over the handle bars, but most important, it can decide your fate for the race. Starts are the most important part of the race, if you get a good start, you have have a good race with a chance to be on the podium.
Not only does the whole shot get you a good racing advantage, it gets you money. The Nuclear Cowboyz have an award for the rider who can get the hole shot in the supercross season of the races. You get the hole shot, you get money. And money is important in this line of work. Right along with your sponsors and your team.

The KTM Red Bull Team

To the Left Is Marvin Musquin. In the Center is Ryan Dungey, the one who is known as "The Steam Engine" because he races at a constant speed and is consistent with his lines. And my favorite, to the Right, Ken "Kenny" Roczen, who is young, at only the age 18, he is full of speed at the beginning of the race, but he slowly falls back. He's fast for his age, but a really cool guy and someone you should be friends with.

Monster Energy Kawasaki

On bike number two we have the Man to be scared of, Ryan Villopoto. And On Bike 32, we have Jake Weimer.

TwoTwo Motorsports

Here we have one of the only teams that is run by the racer himself, Chad Reed. TwoTwo Motorsports is run By Chad Reed, His lovely Wife, Elle, and there two kids, Tate(2 years) and Kiah(1 month). Chad Reed is the only racer of this team, and he is the old dog to be scared of.

James "Bubba" Stewart

Although it is currently uncertain what Team James Stewart will be racing for, he is someone you should look out for. He's a little accident prone while racing. He's fast, very fast, but he's also careless in his racing at times. It's a good idea to stay clear from him, you pass him with authority, cause is he goes down, chances are, he's taking ya with him.

Here is just a little about the bikes you will be able to choose from.

Before we get into the bikes, you might want to know the differences between the 2 stroke and the 4 stroke. The visible way of telling apart a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke is the pipe. A 2 stroke's pipe is bigger. Where a 4 stroke pipe is smaller. The way to tell them apart by sound, is easy. A 2 stroke sounds like a bunch of bees being shaken inside a tin can. Where a 4 stroke is more like a rumble and soothes the soul.
You are probably wondering what the numbers mean also. The numbers are how many CC's the bike has. The more CC's, the more power.

KTM's

In my personal opinion, KTM's are the best bike to ride. They pack more power per CC. They are German/Austrian engineering with a part that no other bike has that is the key to the bikes success. They are a top quality bike.

Yamaha

Ah yes, the blue Japanese bike. One of 4 bikes made in Japan. It's a good bike, reliable, does what you need to, when you need it, but they take forever to warm up and get started for the new day.

And the other Japanese bike... In fact, the last two are Japanese too. This bike is alright. A good bike if you keep up maintenance and you have a good team to keep upkeep on it if you break it form a crash, but if you are on your own, and your own mechanic, it would be my first choice for a bike.

Kawasaki

These are good bikes, Japanese also. Not much that I know about them, so it's kinda a shooting guess for ya.

It's another Japanese bike, don't know much about them as almost no rider rides them, although it's rumored James Stewart will move to the Suzuki team.

- Follow Tess' Rules. -Please, I don't want this thread to get locked, or anyone to get in trouble because they didn't follow CS rules on my rp.

- Characters. -First things first, please don't make a character off of one of the guys I mentioned above. If you really want to you can make a character off of an actual racer, but none of the ones from the post above. Girls, if you want to you can be one of the Monster Energy girls who holds up the 30 second sign and then scampers of the track in a cute but funny way, or you can just be on the sidelines. Please have your characters between 18 and 40. Generally anyone under 18 is going to be with the younger racers where anyone over 40 is more then likely retired from the sport. Don't make any perfect people, that's just annoying and not realistic. It's one thing to be a jack-of-all trades person with some flaws in their personality, and then someone who is just perfect in every single way.

- Posts. -This is a semi-literate rp. In my opinion a semi-literate rp consists of 1-2 paragraphs a post, each paragraph containing a minimum of 7 complete sentences. Writers block is accepted, but nothing under 5 sentences and you can't use it more then once every other day. Make your posts 'pretty' please, but this means color and such, don't use pictures or texts images form fontmeme or anything like that.

- Form. -Make your own, I'm not really in the mood to make one, just make sure you add what bike you ride if you're a guy, and if you are a girl please say if you're a Monster Energy girl, or just a fan.

ｎａｍｅ | "My full name is William Scott Thompson. [[ WIL yum scot TOMP sun ]] William means to have will or desire and protection. Scott means painted warrior. And lastly, Thompson means the son of Thomas. I got the name out of pure randomness I guess you could say. My mom was just looking through a baby book and saw William and Scott, but she couldn't decide between the two so she just went with William Scott. Thompson was my dad's last name along a long line of Thompson's if you always follow the dads side.
In general I go by Will, I'm not a big fan of being called much else, but you can come up with what ever nicknames you want to."

ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ | -William is one of those guys who loves to make everything a joke. Even in the most insane situations when you think all should be serious, he's the one to pull a joke.
Despite his need to make everything interesting, he's very intelligent. He is quick on his feet when it comes to solving a problem quickly, this very much matches his creativity trait. You can throw him into a meal that requires a steak knife and he'll find a way to make it work.
Will has learned to master many accents, as a kid, he loved to impersonate many different accents. He went every where he could to learn their dialect if it was an English speaking accent.
Will's personality is hard to explain... But here's a basic look at him:
Will tends to have 3 different moods that he swings through in his common week, sometimes even month. There's the 'That pisses me off' mood, the 'It's just a time to laugh mood' and the 'Lets go party!' Mood.
Moving on to 'That Pisses me off'. This mood is often caused by some one doing something that pisses him off, what else would do it? A Dog having an itching problem? No.
When Will is in this mood it's pretty hard to get him off his current train of thought to get revenge on who ever pissed him off or to make their life as miserable as possible. You really don't want to be the person to piss Will off. This Mood is very different from the last as he is productive with most anything you throw at him. Cause now if the world is being invaded by Aliens and he's the only one who knows how to get rid of them, them believe me, he gonna come up with the most effective way and the cheapest way and not stop until the job is complete.
So now to the 'It's just a time to laugh,' mood.
This mood is probably one of the best moods to catch Will in... That is, so is the 'Lets Go Party!' mood. But other than that, this is a fun mood to be with him in. He's got a good sense of humor and sarcasm that isn't dry and will even make him smile when he says it. When he's in this mood he gets really fun ideas and you just beg to be with him because you want to laugh and you know he'll find a way because he won't stop trying to make you laugh until you actually do.
This is also one of Will's favorite moods and he kills to be in it all the time. Yes it's his choice if he is or not, but he doesn't always have the ability to stay in it, you need to remember he's male with normal levels of testosterone, not the typical 'Sweet Dandelions' type of guy.
After this you have the 'Lets go party!' mood which is pretty much when all he wants to do is go dance to some 80's rock at a party and just have fun. He will do just about anything asked of him in this mood that keeps him happy. Will loves party's and is a total party person, so he just needs the right person with him and you'll both have a great time.
Will is very adventurous, he's willing to take a challenge and go for it head on, even if there's a brick wall in the way. When it comes to girls with this trait, the better you play hard to get, the more he will want you, so keep every thing to yourself and make him work it out of you, cause he's always out to take a challenge. He is also very open to doing stunts, like jumping off a cliff or out of a plane. He'd always be open to go explore nature with nothing but a knife and some water purifying tablets and see how long he could survive.
He is very loyal to everyone he gets close to. You can tell him something and trust it will stay with him for the rest of your life, he will never blackmail you with it no matter how pissed off he may get at you. He will stay by your side till the day he dies.
Thanks to Will's ADHD he can be very random at times. You know, the whole 'Shiny' deal. He get's distracted very easily and off topic quickly, it takes someone with mass amounts of concentration to keep he focused. Also he can't seemed to stop moving. One part of his body must be moving while sitting down to keep him in his heat and paying attention to you, sorry, it's just the way Donnie is, you're gonna have to deal with it or just not talk to him if you absolutely hate his ADHD.
Will also has this thing for cereal.... Give him cereal and you will be his best friend, but make sure it's the right kind of cereal, get him something he hates and you could become his enemy, give him some he liked.... you have just received the biggest hug of your life.
All in all Willis one of those, jack-of-all trades kind of person, he is a very quick learner. He does have many faults, just like everyone else, here and there he can have a short temper and will burst at anyone, no mater what his relationship with them.

ｈｉｓｔｏｒｙ | Will was raised in a pretty good family environment, parents who loved each other and what not. They paid for him to take all kinds of classes, if he wanted it he got it. He looked American Kempo and became a black belt, eventually becoming a fifth degree in the martial art. Growing up though, his mother never got the daughter she had always wanted after becoming infertile after Will was born, so she taught him all the tricks of the trade when it came to gardening, cooking, health and beauty, and all that other girl stuff he never wanted to learn, his mother was a five star chef though, so he became a master in the art of cooking right along with her. Even though he learned all this feminine stuff, he still kept in touch with his manhood, thanks to his father. His father taught him how to fix dirt bikes, cars, build things, all that kind of stuff. When Will turned 17 he got into drinking, he became an alcoholic, and it took him a few years to get off the drinks and stay sober, ever sense he doesn't like to drink any form of alcohol in fear that if he does, it will happen all over again. He is a huge dirt bike rider, he loves the sport and does what ever he can to get on a bike, his dream is to race with all the big dogs like Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey, and Ken Roczen

ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ | Elle is a very fun girl. She loved to act, and she's great at acting.
Elle is very outgoing when she is around anyone. She loves to talk and learn new things about people and is always asking questions and it tends to annoy people- but it's Elle so you're just gonna hafta deal with it. Elle is very confident in herself and will do just about anything without a seconds guess and will leave the stage without any regrets. She isn't scared to be herself in the world, if someone thinks she's weird, then someone thinks she's weird. If someone things she's mean, then someone thinks she's mean, and if they have a problem with that then it's their problem, not hers.
Even though Elle is very self confident, she's not very self-conscious of herself and is always trying to find ways to improve her looks. She never thinks she is looking at her best and always is doing what she can to look better. Her self-esteem is low and can be hurt easy, so it's good to watch what to say about her image around her.
Even though most people find Her to be bubbly and fun to be around she can be a real pain in the @$$ if you get her on her bad side. If your a girl the best way to void the little female dog inside her is to not get caught flirting with her boyfriend or trying to sabotage her life in some wacko strange way. If you're a guy trying to avoid this side of her, then you should treat her like a treasure, not a target. Never get caught cheating on her or flirting with other girls and saying 'I was just getting to know her' or something along those lines, cause other wise you'll be wishing you were never born. When Elle is in a sad mood she is normally very disclosed from people, she will walk around with her head low and will actually stop talking.
You know she is sad when she shuts up for hours on end. Often when in this mood she avoids people, stays hidden in her bedroom, or goes to a coffee shop and waste her money on coffee and hot chocolate. When she's sad you can try and cheer her up, well more of you do cheer her up. She can be quite easy to make laugh as she loves to laugh. Most people hate seeing such a happy girl like Elle sad and some how go out of their way to make her laugh just to bring peace back to the world, but really you can do something just like walking up to her and she laughs just because you took time out of your day to try and do something for her.

ｈｉｓｔｏｒｙ | When she was about 5 her parents got divorced then her mom got re-married when she was 7 and her step-dad abused her so she got her real dad to gain full custody of her at the age of 10. When her dad re-married the step-mom was the best thing that happened to her, so she had a pretty good life after the age of 12.

•○ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ○• Zach is almost your typical bad-boy. He has all the traits of a bad-boy: mean, cocky, and is always out for some fun, whether it's breaking a law, or just going to an amusement park. However, he does have some good traits, such as loyalty.... That's about it, actually.
Let's start with the off traits, mean. Zach is rude, end of story. He has little respect for just about anyone and thinks that he can barge in anytime he wants. Because Zach is more of a quiet type of guy, he's rude in a different manner. A silent manner. He's the person who walk in between a private conversation, literally. He will walk right int he middle of you both just to get what he wants, and he doesn't care that you were having a personal conversation, you were in his way and that's your problem, not his.
Zach is full of himself. Very full of himself. He's not the type that thinks the world revolves around him, he the kind who thinks he can do anything thrown at him. you put him in the wild, he knows he can survive, throw him in a mall with girls, he'll say he can survive, but in reality, he'll just about die.
Now let's move onto the good traits.
Zach is very loyal. If you are one of those people who keeps pushing and pushing and manages to get on his good side, he will stay loyal to you. No matter what. Zach is very loyal to his girlfriends, once he gets one. He won't go off and cheat on her with another girl, he's hers, fully hers. Any friend he get's, he will bed over backwards to help them out if they need it. Normally he is loyal to two people, his girlfriend, and his best friend.
•○ʜɪsᴛᴏʀʏ○• Zach's history can get pretty long, but we'll just try and stick to the basics for you. Zach was born into a pretty rough neighborhood. Every night there was some form of shooting, eventually he got used to the sounds of guns, and it didn't take long for him to learn to shoot them. The bad thing was he was never allowed to use them in his neighborhood, so he took up another form of self defense, well 3 anyways. He is a black belt in American Kenpo, Brazilian jiu jitsu, and Shotokan Karate. He got those black belts by the age 15, and kept working on them as time went on. Once he got 17 he ended up in the crime gang a little, trying to live, recently he got out. He has money but he hides it quite well, he rarely tells anyone about his past criminal life, and it's not something you want to know. And He's changed a lot since those days.
