Piper walked into the grand building she had just seen another girl walk in. She pulled her stuff in, which was just a suit-case and a backpack, and set to work finding her room. She pulled out her phone to see if she had any missed calls or messages. Of course my parents wouldn't check in on me to make sure I was safe. She thought, slightly angry at them, though her bright green eyes didn't show her anger. She hopped in the elevator quickly after the other girl had gone up, and pushed the button for the floor she was staying on. She got out when it stopped, and looked for her room. She finally found it, and unlocked the door. Bringing her stuff in, she started to unpack. Putting her clothes away in the right places, she walked back out of her room to go explore the city. Messing around with her phones case. She saw a girl skateboarding, and started to walk towards her.

I look around the room and notice a message on the bedside table I pick it up and open it it said
“ congrats on wining the trip go down to the lobby and meet the other winners!”
I smiled although I was shy it was nice to see

I walked back down to the lobby

Luna feels something stabbing her in the back, she reaches under herself to grab it and reading it as she leaves the room with her phone and key in her pockets. She travels back down to the lobby and awaits the others that are supposed to come.

I walk down the stairs an into the lobby.
I see a girl with white hair so I walk over to her “ hi!” I say smiling showing my white teeth as I always do

I walk down the stairs slowly •{please don't be too many people…}• I thought as I walked through the door and into the lobby too see only 2 girls.
I walk over to them slowly. When I reach them “ h-hi…” I say quietly looking at both the girls

As Maya continuously weaved in, out, and around passing people, she couldn't help but notice someone approaching her. Her smirk quickly faded, and her face looked horror-stricken. She had always hated the initial greetings, the awkward introductions and expectations. She began to push faster on her skateboard, and then suddenly, she felt her pocket vibrate. She reached in a pulled out her phone, relieved to feel the smooth, rubbery texture of it's case. Before she even read the message, she flipped the phone over in her hands, studying her favourite case. I'm not obsessed... She thought awkwardly to herself, knowing that it was true. Then to erase the thought, she quickly flicked it back over and read the message sent straight from the hotel itself. Once she had finished reading, she slipped the phone back nonchalantly into her pocket, and turned her Skateboard back around, going towards the direction she thought the hotel was in. Eventually, she arrived, and made her way towards the lobby like the hotel text told her too, wondering through the lobby with her skateboard under her arm, and sunglasses remaining over her eyes. As she walked in, she noticed one guy, and two girls. A smirk appeared on her face, and she held up Spock's symbol in greeting, something that she always did upon entering a room. "Ello."

Luna looks up from her phone at the two people who just said Hi "Sup?, I'm Luna" Her voice was kind yet a little more soft and sweet sounding.

Maya couldn't help but smile softly as the girl returned the greeting, though, her piercing gaze flickered to the lone boy. Slowly, and silently, she placed her skateboard on the floor and rolled over to him, starring down at him softly. She didn't smile, though her expressions were warm. "Hey," She whispered in greeting, "What's your name?" She knew all too well what it was like to be the shy kid, in fact, she would be surprised if he answered her, as she never used to answer anybody. But that was before she discovered who she really was, and what she was capable of. "I'm Maya."

She looked down at her vibrating phone, and read the message. She walked slowly back towards the hotel, not exactly wanting to make a fool out of herself by tripping and falling on her face. That had happened before when she had moved to hawaii for a year, then came back to California, she wasn't used to anything that was there, then she saw this, called and left to come to New york. Which she was extremely excited about, being able to get away from her parents who said she needed to learn more responsibility before she came back. Which made her extremely happy, she had been the most reckless teenager her parents had ever seen and was fed up with it. Her iPhone was her 2nd one in the past year, and her MP3 player, that was her 5th one. Yea, she has issues breaking stuff, her parents refuse to buy her more electronic stuff unless she direly needed it, like if her life depended on getting a new phone every time she broke hers, then she would get it. But not if she didn't absolutely need it. When I got back, I saw other people waiting in the lobby, and did a slight happy dance. Yay! More people to become friends with! she thought, walking inside, hoping she wasn't disturbing anything.
