Rebellious. That one word pretty much sums up Maya to the ‘T’. She can seem quite harsh when she is irritated, though, she is extremely laid back otherwise. She is carefree, and couldn’t care what people thought of her, as long as it was good, she couldn’t care less. She has a beautiful smile, though it seems to slip into a comfortable smirk on most occasions, usually whilst she’s mucking around with a person, or recalling an embarrassing moment that she had witnessed them do. She doesn’t mind if people get angry with her, in fact, she rather likes to fight with the bratty, Too Cool girls that run the school, and often finds herself provoking them. She absolutely hates it when someone lies to her, as she can usually tell the truth. She has a fifth sense about things, and can read emotions extremely well. Although she hates being lied to, she finds that she also does a lot of lying, in order to sneak out or around. Although she seems the complete opposite, mainly because of her looks, Maya is an extremely smart girl, and always has a plan, whether it be for good, bad, successful or not, she always has one.
Tomboyish. Also another word to describe her. She will rarely ever be spotted in a dress, and if she is, she would have been knocked out in order for someone to get in on her. She loves her skateboard, and is always ridding around on it, in her hoodies of course… She loves sports, acing almost every single one. Rowing, Swimming, Boxing, Wrestling, Running, Soccer, Football, you name it, she has it down pat. One of her favourites would have to be boxing, especially when versing the boys. They always worry that they’re going to hurt her, or ruin her pretty little face, so they go easy on her, all the while knowing just how good she really is. She is also a talented musician, vocal and instrumentally. She plays the guitar and piano, though, hopes to learn another one day. She likes to dress up in capes and fake moustaches with her friends, and travel to extremely populated areas. Her only meaning in life is to make people laugh.
Clown. Maya is a huge laugh, often amusing her class by ignoring their teacher, and silently mocking her behind their back. Although she doesn’t listen, she still gets ‘A’s and ‘B’s in school. Her mother calls her a ‘natural genius’, as she doesn’t study at home either. All she wants is to make herself, and everyone else laugh, so in order to do this, she watches a lot of comedies. She loves them all, whether they’re really bad or not. She likes to new things from each one, picking up things here and there, like new pranks and jokes. Even though some her jokes are corny, she still gets a slight laugh, which is good enough for her since she's easily satisfied- but not with food. Oh no, she's picky with her food.

Maya had an extremely ordinary life. She has two little brothers and an elder one, her parents are outgoing and extremely protective. They learnt early on that no matter how hard they tried, they could never, ‘tame’, Maya, so they let her be, run her own life. They do try to guard her in the right direction often, though it doesn’t exactly mean that she will go along with it. Maya and the rest of her family were born in England, in a little town far north, where everybody knew each other. They were all happy where they were living, except for the fact that everybody seemed to know everything about everybody. The rest of the town soon began to lose respect for Maya once they discovered what it was that she had been getting up to. Just as the family reached their breaking point, her father received a job offer, inviting them to live in America. The whole family were excited at the opportunity, and agreed to come down reluctantly.
Maya stills has a very strong British accent.

“Well, this might be hard to explain my whole personality, but I will give you a brief glimpse into my life.
I am smart, but I am not one of those geeks who solve match problems for fun, but, I guess, I read for fun.
I am not involved in any academic programs, such as math club or the chess club, for school or anywhere else.
For the record, I hate math and am not a fan of chess. In fact, I do not even really enjoy school in general.
Some of it has its good parts, but most of the time, I do not put much effort into it. I prefer to slouch in my
seat and doodle like a child. When I am tired, I might even make up for my sleep in class when the teacher is
hopefully not watching. Anyway, the reason I am called smart, intelligent, you name it, is because I am the
student that has an A in every class, and I am evidently quite talented when it comes to academics. Even
when I was younger, my parents noticed I was smarter than the other children, so I skipped the first grade
and ended up okay as one of the top students in my class.

No one calls me quiet, no one. I honestly do not know why... Okay, I know why. I was never really
born as a quiet and wallflower. I was always loud and smart-mouthed. I was always told I was sooo witty and had the best sense of humor. I was always joking and like "Yes, I know, it's just a gift."

Eh, I can be a little resigned and "fine, whatever, I'll do it", but the really rare thing is when I decide to pay attention to the rules. Anyway, sometimes, I can be all stern and a goody-two-shoes. Things rarely get to me, and it is actually quite hard to make me unhappy. It is almost impossible to see me not relaxed since I love to just lay back and just enjoy the joyous adventure of life without regrets. I guess, that could be considered being lazy, but I prefer to think of that as being more laid-back. Plus, I can be a little...okay really careless
at times by not worrying about a lot of things. When I was younger, I remember touching a blazing flame from my
fireplace because the thought of the fire being able to harm me did not even occur. On the upside, there is the
benefit of not being scared of many things such as rollercoasters and being able to laugh and smile whenever I
want.”

I was born in Panama City, Florida. Many weird things happen there, and even though my parents tried to shelter me from all the crazy, grossness, I saw a few things when I was quite young. When they died I was only 16 I saw all the other stuff...I was kinda scarred for like, life. It really, really sucked.

History:
"I was born in Florida, which is located in America, in case you did not know. I lived with my mother, step-father, and brother in a beach house. Um, and I had a normal life like any other person in the world. Minus the fact they all died. When I was still in High School. And I had to act like they were still home with me."

“I like a lot of things, but I will narrow my likes down to a few things. First, I love to sit by myself in silence or listening to music and pull open a book. As my nickname states, I am always reading wherever I go. Not
carrying a book with me at all times is like not breathing. Reading is a necessity, so I don't really mind being
a bookworm. As for my hobbies, my passion lies in art and photography. Although you can never capture the
true beauty of something, photography and drawing is as close as I can get. In the night, I enjoy sitting on the
beach and sketching or taking pictures of the sparkling stars and glowing moon in the night sky.
Other than that, listening to music is terrific. Whenever I am in the car, the first thing I do is turn on the radio
since the silence is so much louder and noticeable in the music. I am not that picky with what music I listen to,
so I will be happy with whatever random music the channel has chosen. Movies are also wonderful, too. I love to
sit around and watch films. Comedy, action, drama, romance, or anything else is amazing. I could even enjoy
Disney movies all day long. In fact, I think a perfect day for me would be chilling on a couch, eating microwaved
popcorn, and watching movies. Going to the theater is awesome as well, and I think it makes a perfect date. You
do not have to speak or try to make a conversation, but you can still be with the person. Besides my love for
popcorn, chocolate is another irresistible sweet delight. The way it melts in your mouth and makes you smile at
the thought is absolutely priceless. Okay, I sound obsessed and addicted to it, but I am honestly not. I know how
to control my diet, but munching on chocolate, my favourite sweet, once in a while is amazing. I fell in love with the beach, too. The sea was amazing, and I learned to do some many things.
For one, I learned how to surf, and it became my favourite activity in the world. When I was not riding the waves,
I liked to watch the sunsets that consisted of cherry reds, bright oranges, soft pinks, lemon yellows, and colors I
cannot even describe. Those were the usual sunsets, but on certain occassions, I was rewarded with cool colors.
Blues and purples are my favourite colors, so when the sunset looked like that, it was always more magnificent.
Overall, there are certain things I like, and I can probably go on and on, but I think this should be good enough for
now. I really like motorcycles and sports cars though. Sorry, had to put that in.

I cannot express how much I despise rude people and bullies. I have no tolerance for any for them whatsoever. On
the other hand, if you make an effort to at least try to be nice, I will return the favour and like you so much more.
The only thing I really dislike as much as cruel people are bugs. I hate how they crawl everywhere, and they scare
me to death. Spiders, I cannot tolerate, but I am not a fan of them. I personally prefer them over scorpions though. However, I actually like fireflies and dragonflies. Maybe it is because dragonflies skim over ponds at night and fireflies light up the night
sky, but either way, I surprisingly like them. In addition, mornings and waking up early are pretty close to the top
of the list of horrors. I usually go to bed late, so waking up in the late morning or afternoon is my normal pattern.
Since I love sleeping, being woken up is not a feeling a like. I am commonly grumpy when I wake up, too, so waking
me up would not be a win situation for me or you. As a warning, don't wake me up please. There is one last dislike
of mine that I prefer not sharing, but considering you are a stranger I will never meet again, I'll make an exception.
I hate car crashes. I am fine with cars and other vehicles, but I always have a fear in the back of my mind. With that,
I have concluded all of mine dislikes.”
