---------- Calla could be called pretty, though she'd deny it if you said it to her face. She thinks she's very average-looking. She's proud of her natural blonde-haired, blue-eyed looks but doesn't brag by any means. In general, she's slight; a petite build and somewhat delicate facial features, high cheekbones, etc.

---------- Calla's hair is a naturally light blonde. She uses no dyes; any highlights or streaks she has are purely natural. Her hair falls in soft waves to about two inches above her waist. Calla is often seen with a headband or flower in her hair.

---------- Calla's eyes are at first glance a simple blue. Not particularly light, not too dark. Just a plain, medium blue. If one looks closely they can find a thin smokey ring along the border between iris and whites. Calla doesn't have exceptionally long or thick lashes, or any kind of unusual shape to her eyes. She thinks of them as average but still pretty.

---------- Calla is considered petite, standing at just barely under 5'3 and weighing somewhere between 100 and 120 pounds. She's very slender.

---------- Calla has the average pierced earlobes, like most girls, and another piercing in the upper cartilage of her left ear. That's the extent of her piercings, and she has no tattoos. She claims that the only reason she'd ever get a tattoo would be as a memorial if someone very close to her died.
Clothing Style}
---------- Calla tends to wear very loose, flowy clothing rather than the tight things that are in style at the moment. Loose tee-shirts, tank tops, denim cutoffs, skirts, and dresses dominate her closet. She rarely wears long sleeves; only if it's exceptionally cold. Calla loves accessories and always spices up her outfits with bracelets, necklaces, scarves, belts, and the like. You'll mostly see her feet bare during the spring and summer. If forced to wear shoes, Calla will wear her favorite pair of worn black Converse, a pair of flats, sandals, or cowboy boots, all depending on the occasion and weather.

I like that I'm not like that. Yeah, I've been called a nerd, a geek, a loser, and every other name you can think of, but they never really bothered me. People say that I'm too sweet, too trusting, too innocent, and how bad that is. I disagree. I think the world could use more innocent, sweet people. But hey, to each his own, right?
My background does have a lot to do with my personality. I was raised on the beach; I learned to swim and surf when I was just a toddler and I grew up climbing on the beach cliffs, running barefoot through the sand. I've had more than my fair share of skinned knees, bruises, stings, bumps, cuts, scrapes, bites, and all that. It taught me not to fear the real world--the natural world, that is, not the concrete jungle that so many people consider the real world. That's who Calla Pearson is. The girl who loves to read and would happily jump headfirst into the ocean without a second's hesitation."

Personality}
--------- Calla is a very sweet-natured girl. She hates to see injustice done to anybody, no matter who they are, and can't stand to see someone upset. She loves to sit and listen to anything people need to talk about, and she's a very good listener. If asked, she'll give advice or input on whatever's troubling you, but otherwise will just sit quietly and let you get it out. She's always there to offer up sympathy or support when something bad happens, as well as a shoulder to cry on. She's also fiercely loyal; she'd never even think about betraying someone she cares about. It's the worst thing for her when two friends are fighting, because it kills her to take sides. If you manage to get in Calla's good graces, you'll stay there. If she has a falling-out with someone, she's the first to try and talk it out. That's not to say she always caves in and apologizes--no, she knows when she's wrong and won't apologize unless she is. But she's very good at talking things out. She's not overly peppy and wanting to be best friends with everyone, she just wants people to get along. She's the peacekeeper. But the flip side of that is that she's too trusting. It's her fatal flaw, and she's been hurt too many times because of it. All it takes is a smile and kind word and Calla is in your hands.
As the little bookworm she is, Calla is always reading. It's extremely rare for her to be anywhere without a book or two, or three or four. She reads so quickly that most of the time she'll have a new book every time you see her. Her favorite place is the library; she's always there, and always leaves with at least a dozen novels that she'll have done days before they're due. She just loves to sit there and read; the hushed atmosphere, the smell of ink, the soft rustle of pages turning. It's heaven to her.
All of this might make Calla sound like a boring person, but she's really not. She loves to have fun, though she's not as wild as some people. Calla's idea of fun is hanging out with a handful of close friends, messing around. If you can make her laugh, you're golden in Calla's eyes.
History}
---------- As mentioned before, Calla was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. With her pale skin, blonde locks, and blue eyes, Hawaiian is the last thing you'd get from just looking at her. Her mother, Michelle, and her father, Jason, come from California and Texas, respectively. Calla isn't the least bit Hawaiian, genetically speaking. But in spirit, she is. She grew up on the beaches and in the forests, and loved it. There's not much to say about her background other than that. She speaks English and Hawaiian, as well as a little bit of Spanish but not enough to even hold a short conversation.

"Being an only child you could say that my parents have spoiled me completely. I guess that is true. I am stubborn and strong-headed, and used to having things my way. I am a player, a joker, often insensible but always irresistible. But then again, I always try to be center of attention, and usually always am. I am a smoker, although I try not to smoke in the house. I tend to be a rule breaker but I do my best to play by the rules... as hard as it can be. I enjoy toying around with anyone as long as they are willing to play along. Laughs are rarely on my cost, and when they are... well it's better if they are not.
