Name:: "Ava Patterson. Apparently it means "voice, sound" in Persian, though I doubt my mother meant for that to happen. She just told me she always loved the name. My middle name as Marie, my mother's name. She thought it would be nice to share a name. At least I'm not Marie Junior, that wouldn't exactly make me too happy. And then my last name is Patterson, it's my mother's maiden name, 'cause she doesn't like to use my father's... It'll be explained in depth in the history portion of all this."

Nickname::"None, you can't really shorten Ava, unless you called me Av, or A, but I wouldn't ever respond to that, because frankly, it's stupid. If you can get me a non-stupid nick name, I will gladly respond to it. My mom never had any nick names for me, like those little cheesy ones, she just always called me Ava."

Age:: "I'm 19 years old and nine months. Finished high school, I can drive, drink, and I'm a legal adult. Can't think of any more comments on this, well, I've been told I act pretty young for my age, so don't be mistaken."

Gender:: "Wow. Gender, really? Unless you are blind, I have all the rights to yell at you, because you are being stupid. And you're insulting me. Clearly I'm a girl, not a guy. And I don't think I look like a guy, I don't wear pants down to my ankles, I don't believe I have any facial hair, and I really don't think I act like a guy. Oh yeah, no offence to guys or anything."

Birthday & Birthplace::"A little more detailed questions... Well, birthplace. My mom gave birth to me in Denver, Colorado. Want me to be more specific? Hmm, okay. It was a dark, freezing morning, around 4:45 in the morning. We happened to be down in Aurora, visiting a close friend of my moms. When my mom went into labor, the closest hospital was Rocky Mountain Urgent Care Hospital. I was born in room 309 at 4:52 A.M. On December 14th, 1991. Oh, looks like I answered both questions. Okay then, I think that covers the basics for me."

Overall Physical Description:: "Hmm let me think. Well, basicly I have brown hair, green eyes, a slim build, and, apparently, a perfect smile. In detail... My hair is medium-thin, that's right in between wavy and curly. It's 100% natural, no dyes, curling or straitening iron, and not a lot of products. The most I do is brush it out. It's a dark, chocolate brown color and goes down to the small of my back. I usually where it down. Umm, well my eyes are a mix of three colors, dark green, like pine trees, a light, pale green, almost like dry grass, and flecks of golden, that seem to sparkle when they catch the sunlight. I honestly love my eye color. I have a slim build, with long legs and skinny arms. My legs are pretty strong, so I'm pretty fast. I did a bit of track when I first got here, and started getting better at it, so now, I do 100 meter, 800, occasionally 1600, and 100 meter relay. And then for height and weight, I'm 5'8, so average. Not to tall, or to short. It's as simple as that, and then I weigh 119 pounds."

Hair Color:: "Like I said, it's a dark chocolate brown color, with lighter colored highlights. In the summer, it can turn lighter, more of a honey brown, while in the winter, it's a really dark, almost black kinda brown. I like to keep my hair long, down to my back. I only occasionally trim it."

Eye Color:: "Like mentioned, they're usually a dark green, but it's more detailed than that. They are a mix of three colors, dark green, like pine trees, a light, pale green, almost like dry grass, and flecks of golden, that seem to sparkle when they catch the sunlight. The dark green seems to be the dominant color, so that's what you'd see from a distance."

Height:: "Like I said, I'm 5'8, so about the average height for my age, I'd say. Though it's odd, my mother's side of the family tends to be quite short, so I guess I'm more like my dad in this case."

Weight:: "Again, like mentioned I weigh 119 pounds. I'm a tiny bit on the light side, but not to a point where it's unhealthy. I'm a pretty fit person, that's all."

Skin tone:: "I tend to be pretty pale, it takes a lot for me to get a tan."

Usual Clothing Style::"Well, I tend to stay on the casual side of things, I'm not really one to dress up, though occasionally I might. So in warm weather, I prefer denim or white shorts with either a t-shirt or tank top, sandals, sunglasses, and possibly a hat. Then cooler weather I'll either wear denim capris or yoga pants, with a t-shirt and hoodie, and my converse. Freezing cold weather I'd wear jeans, a long-sleeved shirt with a hoodie, my moose hat, Uggs, and a winter coat, then just cold weather, I have mittens, a nice red coat, jeans, the type of shirt tends to vary, and either Uggs or my converse."

Personality::Ava's personality is kind of all over the place. One second she's sweet and fun, and the next she could be having a mental breakdown, though luckily that doesn't happen often. Almost all the time Ava is sweet, fun quirky, and a little daring. If you want me to put a number on it I'd say 90% of the time she's like this. Wherever she goes, she tends to bring a fun atmosphere with her. She does have a lot of energy, and tends to be very brave, so that helps. Since she has a lot of energy, she tends to talk. Like, a lot. She'll walk over and start a conversation,and what seems like 10 minutes can end up being an hour. While she does talk a lot, the person she's talking to can also speak, but probably not as much as she does. The nice thing is, it's not really annoying. Like, you wouldn't sigh in frustration when she starts talking. She's a fun and humorous person, and usually her conversations are just that. Fun and humorous.

She's also very sweet, as it was previously mentioned. She will worry when someones sick, or try to make someone feel better when they're depressed. She'll notice the little things people do and compliment them on it. She tends to do this because when she was growing up with her mother, she would always do little things, and hope her mother would notice them, but she never did, and it made Ava feel rotten, so she makes sure she notices the other things people do.

Another thing mentioned about Ava is that she's very daring and brave, but not to a point where it's dangerous. She like's to take risks, and loves the rush she gets when she does something exciting, but she's not an adrenaline junky. She just likes to push herself. If you dare her to do something, chances are, she'll do it, as long as she doesn't get in too much trouble for it. Like the time her best friend/neighbor dared her to drive her mom's car around the block real quickly, at age fifteen. Then her mom caught her and she got in trouble for it. At least it was her mom and not the police. Being the brave person she is, she's not scared of many things, except for needles. They're her one weakness, her 'kryptonite'. She freaks out and will do anything not to get a needle. Literally anything. One time they had o have someone hold her arms down... It's almost to the point of being a phobia,but it'snot that bad. Also, being the brave person she is she is not afraid to confront someone, make her intentions clear, whether she wants something, or maybe a crush, though Ava doesn't tend to fall in love easily.

Ava has been disappointed many times in her life, that it's now something she will avoid at any cost, for the most part anyway, making her quite stubborn. When something doesn't go her way, she will do all she can to reverse it. When she is told she isn't very good at something, she will work her very hardest to be the best, if not, she will definitely have improved greatly, unless it is for something she thinks is wrong, like what her father did. Then she will try her best to protest against it. While in most cases, her stubbornness can become quite annoying, other times, and can be quite handy, whether it's proving a point, helping someone in need, or just getting something done. Ava's past has been a hard one on her, so whenever it's mentioned, she can become sensitive and defensive. She hates thinking about her father, well, she doesn't exactly like calling him her father. She doesn't like it when people always talk about their happy families, for she feels sad about her small one. For a while after that, she isn't exactly in the best mood, and, like mentioned, will be quite sensitive to the things others will say and do. It's best others avoid the subject of her past completely. But that's only small portion of the time.


History:: Ava was born in Denver,Colorado, in a small apartment with her mother. Her father had left her mother before she was born, so it was just them. They lived in a small loft apartment in the middle of the city. Since thats where they were, there were no schools in the area, so Ava was homeschooled. Even at age 6, you could tell she was advanced for her age, and that was good, since her mom was gone most of the time. She had a job as a deparment manager at a clothing store, so it didn'tpay enough for them tohave the luxury of a nice house and small work hours, so Ava's mom was gone alot. Since Ava was smart, she didn't need her mom to spend a lot oftim with her, to teach her things. She grew up independently, not having much of a childhood. By age nine, she was making hr own lunches, sometimes dinner. She was finewith it though. There weren't any kids in her area, so she has always been a bit solitary. Soon, her mother was given a small promotion, and with the extra time and money she was given, they traveled, a lot. And Ava really enjoyed it. Every summer they went somewhere new, Australia, Rio, Paris. Then, they moved.

Ava's mom was offered a better paying job in england, so of course, she took it, and they moved. Her mom was now store manager at a much larger branch. Nearby her new apartment was a highschool, so since she was 16, thats when she started going. At first she was hesitant, since there would be so many peoplethere, but after a week, she began fitting right in. She loved all the people, the classes, the variety of it all. She began excelling at her classes, so she began taking more, and more advanced ones two. It was soon clear that she excelled most in the arts, drawing, painting, writing, singing, music in general. But she was best at photography and dancing. She would notice and capture the little details others wouldn't. She began revolving her life around that stuff, spending more and more time doing it, along with track, which she had also tried doing. Growing better and better at Track, she liked it more and more. At her new school, she met a boy named Benjamin, and they became instant friends. Oddly enough, they liked a lot of the same things, he was a photographer like she was, and they were both on the 800 meter team in track. It was pretty clear that Ava liked Ben, though she wasn't exactly sure he liked her back, despite what her friends said. Thanks to them, Ben ended up finding out she liked him, but she was so nervous that now that he knew, it would break up their friendship, but to her surprise, he liked her too. After that, they had gone on a couple dates, before Ben asked her to be his girlfriend, and of course, she said yes. They dated for two entire years, until she found him with another girl, kissing inside his car, and that was the end of that. This was the one time she was to scared to do something, so instead of confronting him, she ran away, leaving a message on his phone telling him they were over. Ben kept messaging her back, telling her it was his sister's friend and that she had come onto him, but that's certainly not what it looks like. That's basically it.

Cullen Burke was born on a chilled autumn morning, October 2nd to be exact, to Lilian and Richard Burke.
"How am I supposed to tell you who I am when I'm not even sure myself?"
Cullen always struggled with. Who was he? The unusual thing about Cullen is that he changes from day to day. By this, I mean his likes, beliefs, mannerisms, dislikes, thoughts. There seems to be no consistency with this male, which is the lying cause from which his problem roots stem.

With one look at Cullen, one would think he's an average nineteen year old. He is much more then what meets the eye. He's serious, funny, loving, lost, considerate, jealous, trusting, flawed, afraid, clever, thoughtful, spontaneous, meticulous, human. To pin one word to the male is impossible for he is a mish-mash of everything. He is mature, yet immature. He knows when to have fun and relax, and when to be serious. He's laidback 99% of the time and gets along with just about every being who crosses his path. He's one who acts upon feeling and instinct and usually neglects critical thinking, not his best trait.

One thing is certainly definite about this young man. He's loyal, and very protective. If Cullen has any type of feelings for someone, he wants to do everything to prevent that person from feeling any type of hurt. He creates strong emotional ties that aren't always reciprocated in the same way; His way of saying that he becomes a little too attached. He doesn't enjoy getting emotional and talking about feelings, but if one talks with him enough, it can be coaxed out of him. He is quite charming and sociable. He likes to joke around and playfully banter. He hates fighting or confrontation of any sort. He's passive and kind and just needs someone to be nice to him in this world.

A fault, or what many would consider a fault, in this mans personality would probably be his excessive self love. Yes, Cullen is a little bit conceited. I don't believe that "a little" is a good portrayal of how much he loves himself. Cullen thinks he is the most important person in the world. He believes that his opinion, and his views are right. His body image is impeccable. He has certainly never had a confidence issue. He is full of himself and he doesn't mind it. He can openly admit that he thinks he's perfect. No shame.

Insomnia, Cullen's demon. It is extremely difficult for Cullen to sleep for months on end. His insomnia will recede then for maybe a month or two, and then return. If he is lucky, he is able to nap for about fifteen to twenty minutes. He knows the night well.

"I'm as honest as they come; if you want my advice or thoughts, you'll recieve 'em bluntly. I can work wonders with a bow and arrow, and my hands. I'm pretty good at ignoring people when I am mad at them, I think thats a strength, and I'm quite considerate. I have a little temper; I tend to not take criticism well and I constantly over analyze everything."

Cullen is a typical romantic. He falls "in love" at first sight, or so that is what he thinks. The problem is Cullen doesn't really fall in love, he just becomes infatuated, and there is a big difference between the two. If there is something pretty about her, maybe its her eyes, or the way her hair lays perfectly, he's bound to be drawn to her. And she doesn't necessarily need to have great beauty; if she were to show him an act of kindness, he would become attracted. You see, Cullen doesn't fall for women so easily because he wants something physical from them, he is simply desperate to feel love, or what he thinks love is anyways. Cullen will be a very happy man when he experiences what love truly is. He needs something real to open those pretty eyes of his.

The years have been good to Cullen. Cullen stands a little over the 6 foot mark. He was blessed with a beautiful body that he, oddly enough, didn't need to put a lot of effort into. His fast metabolism and active way of life kept him in pretty good shape, there wasn't much of a need for working out. Cull has a mop of thick dark hair which he manages quite neatly. He has expressive brows, intense eyes with a fringing of thick lashes, high cheekbones, full rose petal like lips, a perfect smile and a defined jawline. A somewhat perfect face although he fails to take notice. He will really wear anything he can get his hands on, most of which looks nice on this young male.
