"looking for a clock so I can figure out what time it is." she walked back over to the bed and kissed his cheek. "you wouldn't happen to know would you?" she lifted up one of his hands. She felt really happy since her birthday seemed so close.

"I've got my phone" he said reaching for his phone and pulling it over, pressing a button so the screen was shown. "8:39" he told her, looking back up at her, letting her play around with his spare hand. He set his phone back down and pulled her up on his lap.

Jade leaned her back against his chest and closed her eyes. "how did you sleep?" she asked trying to think of something else to say

"Well, I can answer that two ways, I got tired, layed down in the bed, cuddled up with you, closed my eyes and fell asleep, and I slept fine, definatly better than the couch" he added with a little smile, kissing the top of her head.

Jade smiled glad that he'd slept well. "good Couches are defintly back sores." she tilted her head back so that she could look into his face.

"Yes, definatly" he said with a light chuckle, laying back down on the bed, sighing as he put an arm behind his head, holding onto her with the other. He touched his jaw lightly, it still felt puffy and hurt a bit. He grumbled a little, snapping his phone up off of the table, seeing he had a missed message, he clicked on it, seeing it was from some booty call of his. He quickly deleted it, throwing his phone back down.

Jade looked up into his face as he checked his phone she was really worried that Joey would find her he had ways of doing things like that. "I'm scared" she frowned her thoughts stayed on Joey

He looked up at her, concerned, he spun her around so she was facing him. "Why would you be scared Jade?" He asked her quietly, wondering what was wrong. He rubbed her side gently, trying to comfort her.

"what if Joey finds me or worse you." she'd seen the damage that Joey could cause and she didn't want him hurting Steve-o. The last time someone had made Joey that mad was her when she broke it off with him. She could remember that day clearly and didn't want to relive it

"What the hell does that mean" he said sitting up quickly and couldn't help but frown. He set his hands on her hips, not wanting her to leave if he made her mad. "I think I can handle myself if I get in another fight with him, the jaw, that's hardly anything Jade, and besides I would be more concerned for you" he added, not even wanting to think about what joey might do to her.
