Conversing with- Vespa
Sorrel nodded approvingly at the small area which was covered with trees and bushes- bascially making they invisible unless you were a mutt with a great sense of smell...Sorrel didn't want to ponder on how likely that possibility was. "I'm quite tired, so maybe you should take the first watch." Sorrel pondered. She hadn't been able to get that much sleep leading up to the games. Though she hated to admit it, she'd been close to crying herself to sleep many times. But the girl wasn't a wimp. "Here." Sorrel handed Vespa her parachute containing her meal. "If you're hungry, have a nibble on the bread."
Sorrel then lay down on the brown leaves that lined the floor, covering herself with the dry, crisp foliage to create some form of cover. It also made her almost invisible, other than her head. Sorrel placed her spear by her side- the girl often rolled over in her sleep and didn't want to risk impaling herself with her own weapon by holding into it whilst she slumbered.
Sorrel was a little wary of Vespa. She seemed nice, but at the end of the day, this was the Hunger Games and the younger girl might take the oppertunity to kill her in her sleep, removing one opponent from the line that was assembled to stop her from going home. "Don't stab me." Sorrel added with a weak smile, aware that she was totally at the other child's mercy. With that, Sorrel closed her greenish eyes and hoped that sleep would bring her a happy dream. As if.
"Go ahead.
Underestimate my strength.
It'll most likely be the last mistake you ever make."
Torrent Scael
Age- 15 years
Gender- Male
District- 4
Supplies- 2 spears , 1 sleeping bag
Allies- Briar and Phoenix
Location- Forest
Conversing with- No-one
Hearing Briar's whistle, Torrent snarled at Dave- though his anger was not directed at him- "Guard the supplies!" The boy then quickly ducked into the Cornucopia, snatching one dagger incase Briar was running low, and tore off into the forest. He caught up with Briar fairly quickly- not because he was fast, but because he found her standing a few feet from Phoenix, who lay on the ground. There was a small pool of blood a bit away from Briar, and he assumed she'd let her blade loose on someone. "Here." He snapped, sticking the fresh dagger in her hand. "Thought you could do with a spare."
Torrent quickly realised that Phoenix was minus her bow. There was a pool of blood by her neck, but the wound seemed healed. She was still lying on the floor, and their enemies were nowhere in sight. "They got away?" He growled, hands reflexively going to Barney and stroking the perfectly sharp head of the spear. "I've left Dave with the supplies..." Torrent sincerely hoped the other career didn't leg it. He doubted it, not at this stage.
"So, what's the plan?" Torrent snarled. "Do we hunt them down, or should I get Fire-bird back to camp?"
"Some call me mad. If that gives me the edge to win, you won't find me protesting."
((Yup, short posts. I'm really sorry, I just don't have much muse for Torrent exept when he's talking about Barney.))
