Silvergate Equestrian Centre }



This roleplay is semi-literate and above, but is mainly aimed at more advanced roleplayers.
Silvergate Equestrian Centre is a riding stable located thirty minutes outside of London, England. They specialise in English riding. They currently do not cater to western riders.
Their specialties are Jumping and Dressage, but they also do many other English riding activities.
Silvergate is a luxury stable that requires work to ride at, but it's well worth it. They provide horses if you do not own one to ride. They offer boarding and permanate housing for equines as well as riders.

Silvergate offers a programme for equestrians interested in developing more skills, the age range being eighteen to twenty-two. It offers a room in the housing complex, and board for your equines if you own your own, and lease on one of the stable's horses if you do not own a rideable horse.
Only twelve riders are allowed to take part of the programme, given the fact that they've received a letter.
You've reccieved a letter, but you may have to travel to train at Silvergate. They pay the expenses, what's stopping you?

Rules }



Roleplay Rules;
Breaking of these rules result in being kicked out.
• Posting less than three paragraphs per post is not allowed. I expect proper English and long posts. One liners are not allowed. Don't pull the writer's block excuse if you can't really write more than three paragraphs. Now, if you really have writer's block, don't use it as an excuse.
• Use the form provided.
• English only. Sorry Western fans.
• Be realistic, no one would name their child "Roxy Jagger Smith" or something of the like. Not everyone is perfectly fit, rich, and pretty.
• Genders should be fairly even, but in real life, more girls ride, at least in my knowledge.
• This is not a romance roleplay, but it is allowed as long as its clean. I don't want a bunch of romance, though.
• You may not put images in your post unless its related to your post, a picture of your character anywhere else but the form is not allowed. Neither is putting their status, like "Doing; walking the dog // Crush; Billy bob". If people have been reading your posts, they should know what your character is doing.
• No scene people. I'm sorry, but giant hair and tons of piercings is not allowed.
• No anime, descriptions and/or real people only.
• Follow all site rules.
• Stallions are not general riding horses. Geldings and mares are the only ones that can be ridden by students.

Stable Rules;
These may be broken.
• Students may not ride stallions unless granted special permission.
• Pets must remain on a leash at all times.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited, along with alcohol.
• Students may not use school horses if they are seen mistreating them.
• Students may not use the trails after dusk unless granted special permission.

Breaking of these rules will result in different consequences if caught.

Brief Description; I have long dirty blonde wavy hair, and a bit skinny and lanky. I am most often seen with skinny jeans and some sort of nerdy shirt/sweater. Depends on what I'm feeling that day. I have thick rimmed, square-shaped glasses. My smile's a bit crooked, but oh well. It's been that way forever. I'm average height.

Inside;
Personality; I can be quiet, and shy. Most of the time I'm calm and keep my head, but when provoked I can be a devil. I am usually very polite, but the more I get to know you, the more I open up, but that takes a while. I am a little strange, but oh well. I don't have a whole lot of friends, but get along with people just fine, I just don't have that driven desire to socialize with people; animals are more my forte. I can be pretty sensitive. Don't talk much. But whatever, I'm pretty chill most of the time.
Weaknesses; Um, I don't really know. I can't stand primates of any sort.
Strengths; Working with animals, riding, writing, reading.

Dislikes; I don't like any insects really. I cannot stand bossy people.....

Personality; Sassy, VERY sassy. She likes to get her way, and if she doesn't she can throw a fit. But if you get her to respect you, she'll grow to tolerate things, even begin to like them. For example; lead changes. Since she's very green,flying lead changes are very hard for her. When she can't get them, she starts to buck and get mad at herself, and sometimes even you for not helping her. She can be a little mean sometimes, but it's only because you're not treating her the way she wants to be treated. She's friendly to other horses, especially her Morab companion, Wendy. Sometimes she can be a little lazy because she doesn't want to do her job, but with a little encouragement, she will do it.

Brief Description; "Well, from a mirrors point of view, I have long dark, layered hair, I am quite short, yes, and fairly skinny. It's not that I am unhealthy or anorexic, no, I just have a high metabolism. I recently got my braces removed, and I'm never seen in anything but skinny jeans.. I have short, choppy bangs, and always either have a pair of black high-top converse or a pair of vans on my feet."

Personality; "If you haven't noticed already, I have quite the ego. My patience sucks, but that's life. I am quite confident in myself about just about everything. I am stronger than most girls, and barely act like one myself. Most of my friends consists of guys and horses, really.I wouldn't leave my house without a comb in my back pocket and a find myself bouncing off the walls. I get along with just about everybody, but that doesn't mean I want to be their friend. I have a passion for music, and always seem to show it. My shirts normally consist of any rock n roll band, from the Rolling Stones to the Beatles, to The Devil Wears Prada to The Violent Femmes. Music is just one of those things that mean the world to me."

Personality;Where do I begin. Wendy is the all around stupid mare that only exists in your mind. She spooks at non moving objects, and doesn't click with many people, besides Liv, of course. She eats everything that is placed in front of her, and is on the heavier side. She tends to knock rails down when she is jumping 2'6", but Liv and her are constantly working on her skills to become the best jumpers they can be. She has a tenancy to itch at her polo wraps, but that is just Wendy. She enjoys baths, and foot-ball face paintings on her muzzle. Wendy is one of a kind.
