"What was?" he said, his face expressionless. Inside his mind he was thinking of the girl with the bear trap and how that means there were other people here. Dangerous people. Ashton heard a branch crack slightly. He also became aware that the boys at the fire had stopped talking. He looked back and saw that a flashlight was beaming their direction. Straightening up, he boldly called "Who's there?" in the darkness.

Dax grinned at her but slowly handed the bag back, giving his head a little shake. "I'm fine," he said, "It's yours, anyways. Wouldn't want to take up all your food."

Mercedes remained still against the shadows, her slender body outlined by the moonlight. A twig cracked somewhere in the distance and she tensed, praying their visiters were passengers on the plane. If they received no answer, she had an idea who had discovered them.

"It is Adam" He called out showing them he was a passenger. The boy walked up to them "Why are you guys out here.......... Seem a little exposed." He said dropping the knife to his side.

"I just found her not too long ago." Ashton explained, relaxing. "She's alone and scared. Something followed her and she got hurt." He paused "I was thinking of making shelter, but I have no weapons."

Charlie followed after Adam, but didn't say anything. He didn't know these people, and he wasn't sure what to say to them. He kept his knife in his hand, for protection if anything were to pop out. He looked at Ashton, and listened to their conversation.

"Okay,good."She said with a small smile. Her ankle tensed up as pain shot up her leg when she tried to move it. She relaxed her leg and looked up at the night sky. The bright stars twinkled as she looked up at them.

He walked over to the rocks and shinned his flashlight onto them. Taking a closer look he found a small cave in them. "Awesome." He said and crawled into the cave.

Skylar followed a little more cautiously, shining her flash light into the cave. She went in after him, listening for any sounds that might come from the back of the cave, wanting to be ready to run. She looked around, it being a decent sized cave for the two of them. She followed Dustin, but looked back a few times at the entrance, just in case something tried to come in.

Tyler smiles and eats the pretzels without retaliation, it seems like his mind was made up. She popped one into her mouth before reclosing the bag and stuffing it back into her pockets. “Well, I better go find some shelter” she said while looking up at the sky, seeing that the sun was setting.

Gavin places the bamboo and the palm leaves on the lean-to. He steps back and looks at it “I think it’s done.” He said with a light smile of pride. He grabs his suitcase and pulls out a thin sheet and places it on the ground.

Mercedes cheeks flushed; scared...Didn't think any of my traits classified as so. She ran her hand over her arm again out of habbit, feeling the bruise throb beneath shivering skin. She was aware that somewhere in the distance, they were being watched, and had a feeling the others did, too.
