Charlie nodded to Adam. "Goodnight." He said, and leaned back against the wall of his shelter, resting his hands on his stomach. He held his knife under his hands, ready to jump up if needed. He stared up, being able to see the stars through holes in the branches above. Looking at the stars always calmed him, but these stars were foreign to him. They weren't the stars he was used to looking at.
Skylar smiled slightly at him, then shone her flash light around, looking for a cave, or anything that would make a good shelter, at that. She couldn't get rid of the heart-pounding feeling like someone was watching them, following them, just waiting to strike. She remembered about the bear traps. "Watch where you're walking. We don't need another person stepping in a trap." She reminded him, and glanced at him for a moment, before she continued to look around, occasionally watching where she was putting her feet.
