Mercedes shook his hands from her, an outraged snarl folding over her face. "I know what I saw," she hissed, eyes flickering with rage. He doesn't believe me. "We are not alone," she added quietly, glancing over her shoulder.

Dax stole a glance at her and drew in a steady sigh, counting the number of seaguls above their heads. "Who knew this trip would go from remote to survival," he mused, giving his head a tiny shake. "I'll promise you one thing; we'll start to see what everyone is truly like."

"Ok if there is some one or thing out there, we should probably get out. Come one I have some food in bag. You can tell me what you saw. Lets just get out." Adam said getting the odd feeling that he was being watched. With a quick glance over his shoulder he strung his bow and stood up.

Mercedes straightened herself, cheeks flushing and hair sweeping over her face. She'd never been afraid of an unseen enemy; whoever was out there, her senses had told her enough to know they were dangerous. Rubbing her arms to quiet a shiver, Sades followed closley beside him, glancing around.

[One Is All It Takes]

Adam walked slowed down to walked beside her with his bow draw resting in he left hand. "I am Adam by the way" His Irish accent told her calmly.

"Mercedes," she replied quietly, her fingernails digging into her arms, dismissing her chills. She lowered her head, sleak chestnut hair falling into place and bouncing at her shoulders as she considered what to possibly say. To be quite honest, Sades wanted somebody to bear hug and never let go...But that was the real Mercedes. The one that she never allowed to show.

"I feel like I'm being watched and its actually getting wo-"Madeline cut off as soon as she felt something sharp sink into her flesh, right above her right ankle. The pain was unbearable and it took all she had not to scream out loud. She immediately grabbed her leg, not making a move because the tiniest movement made it hurt even worse. She slowly looked down, afraid of seeing how bad it was. What she saw made her slightly dizzy. There was a pretty big metal animal trap sinking its large metal "teeth" into her ankle, on both sides. It was like a metal mouth, each side had large sharp metal triangles, making it look like sharp teeth. "Agh!"She screamed out in agony. She didn't know how she was going to get out of this thing, and she didn't know how bad the damage was. Hopefully it didn't break her ankle. A couple tears streamed down her face as she turned around and looked at Gavin, her eyes pleading for help. Blood seeped out of the wound, dripping onto the jungle floor. Her first day on the island and she already had a severe injury. Lesson learned, she quickly thought before the pain interrupted her thinking.

"Yeah, I can't stop getting the feeling that I'm being watched."He replied, looking over his shoulder quickly before looking back at Skylar.

Skylar nodded in agreement. "Me too." She said, goosebumps beginning to form on her arms. She looked toward the jungle, hearing a faint cry of someone in pain.

Adam looked at her. "Your gonna hurt yoursself like that" He pointed to her arms has he arrived at his bags. His hands found there way to a dried bag of food and a glass and water. "All we need now is fire." Adam grabbed some loose wood and leaves and found his lighter. Yes he smoked but it was going to be a quick stopp.

Tyler grins and looks at Dax for a quick second. the looked back forward "aint' that the truth" she said while shoving her hands into her pockets there was a crinkling noise that came out of her pockets as she moved her fingers around. She grabbed it and pulled whatever it was out of her pockets. She held it out "sweet, I forgot about these" she said while holding a complementary pretzel bag from the plane out in front of her

Gavin looked down at Madeline, he saw her blood beginning to cover the metal animal trap "oh my-" he quickly bent down and pulled the chain out of the ground which loosened up the trap its self. He then picked her up and cradled her in him arms, much like a baby. He rushed towards the beach, with Madeline in his arms, and laid her down on the sand near all the suitcases.

Allison arrived on the beach, looking confused. Where was the beautiful island getaway they were promised? There was only miles of beach on either side and jungle in front. Looking back, she saw endless ocean. Everyone was getting into groups and leaving. She still didn't know what to do. Should she ask to join one of them? Or stay on her own? She decided she wanted to be in a group, because she started feeling lonely. Only, there was nobody around. As usual. she thought miserably I'm always the one left out. Trudging slowly up the beach she sat down and fought hard not to cry.



Ashton set his bag down and watched the plane fade away into nothing. He kicked at the sad angrily, loosing his temper. Then he immediately set his face into an indifferent expression. Now he must learn to survive. He grabbed his backpack and hefted it onto his shoulders. Then he walked calmly into the jungle. It was very humid and hot and the sunlight didn't reach in as far. There must be fresh water somewhere he thought. And so he set off in search.
