Ivy| Partnered with Jeremy |Age 18
I raised my eyebrows at the two boys, thinking about there accent. I've never been one to fall of a British accent, but that might be because I've never known anyone with one. "Sup," I said to the two of them. "I'm Ivy." I couldn't help but notice how Jeremy kept getting distracted, and it intrigued me a little. Also, Moran caught my attention when he said "lovely". I know it's something they say where he's from, but I couldn't help but wonder if he meant it literally.
I watched as more people walked into the room, most of them looking older than me, but not by too much. It looked like most people were here, so I started wondering why we've been asked to come here. Finally a grown woman, maybe in her 40's walking into the room. "Hello everyone," she said to us. "Welcome. I hope you have all found a room and made some friends." Her smile was kind, and her eyes soft. "I am Jackie and I throw these parties every year. As you hopefully know, later tonight will be the first Masquerade Ball- Or as I like to call it- The Formal Dance. You are expected to wear your masks, and nice attire." She started walking around the room, and started at the end with the girl who had red/brown hair. "I am giving you a paper with a location on it," Jackie said. "Don't read it until the clock strikes eight," I looked at the clock. It's almost seven. "You shall go to this location in or out of the house, and find your partner there. After you have semi-met each other, you may walk to the dance hall. Remember not to share your name, or what room you are staying in. The point of the mask is to keep your identity hidden, because what fun would it be if you knew who everyone is?" She handed me my paper, and I was getting extremely anxious to open it.
"I would love to meet you all," Jackie continued, "but I'm afraid I don't have time- I must set up the party soon. You have two choices now: One, you can mingle and get to know each other to make it easier to find out who your partner is. If you insist, you may share names with each other, but remember not to tell your name at the party. Or two, you can go get ready with your roommates, and keep tonight as exciting as it has been planned to be. Well, I suppose you could also explore if you know you'll be all ready in time." She smiled at everyone, waved a little and said, "Enjoy your stay." And with that, she walked off.
((Please look at the front page, under Relationships, to see your location C: Also, no names is just when they have the masks on. Thank you for being concerned, abbiekathy.))
