; Lets start with a simple tour of our ballet studio, shall we?
; There is three large studios like this in our building. One studio is for the advanced girls (En pointe) and boys. The other is for the younger girls/boys or girls/boys just learning. And the last one is for toddlers doing 'Fun movment' a ballet program for ages 2-4. Each studio has air conditioning for those hot days, and a heater for the colder days. Each studio has mirrors, A full wall Barre along with 2 long pull out barre's. Each studio has Large windows letting in lots of natural light and spuring flooring, All our studios are large in size and can hold up to 20 students per room.

* Students must be able to hold themseves en pointe without any problems.
* Students must be a healthy weight, nothing over 160, but nothing under 120 (This only applies to advanced/pointe students)
* Students must not attempt any pointe work unless told by the teacher.
* Students enrolling that are 11-19 years of age will automatically go into the pointe class, a test will be done to see if you are ready- if failure to complete the test you will be bumped into the Pre-pointe classes until ready.
* Students must pay attention at all times.
* Students MUST wear the proper schooling outfit [Dress code below]
Dress Code:
Fun Movment | Female |: Pink leotard, Light pink ballet slippers, Pink tights, Hair in a ponytail or bun.
Fun Movment | Male | : Black tight pants or shorts, White shirt, Black ballet slippers.
Still Learning | Female | : Dark Pink leotard (Short black skirts are premitted), Pink tights, Pink ballet Slippers, Hair in a bun at all times.
Still Learning | Male | : Black tights, white shirt, black ballet slippers.
Pre-Pointe | Female | : Navy blue leotard (Short black skirts premitted), White tights, Light Pink SOFT BLOCK shoes, Hair in a bun at all times.
(There is no pre-pointe for male students)
Pointe | Female | : Black leotard (Black skirts must be worn), White tights, Pink Pointe shoes, Hair must be worn in a bun at all times.
Ballet "Whats-What"
Ballet Slipper:

A soft slipper shoe made from canves or leather, dancers cannot rise to the tops of their toes. Refer to dress code to see what classes you must wear this in.
SoftBlock Shoe:

It looks like pointe shoes, but it's not. This shoe has no shank and the box is usally dead, this shoe cannot support a dancer. This shoe is made for Pre-pointe/Demi pointe classes to let students get a feel of what pointe shoes are like.

A tough shoe, made up of satin, glue, a shank, box, vamp, elastic and ribbions. This shoe will support a dancer up on her toes, This shoe is to be worn only by teachers or advanced students in the pointe class.

A 'Swim-suit' like outfit, must be worn by the female dancers in the color of her class.

Now, for some simple studio rules.
- Gum chewing is NOT allowed.
- Outdoor footwear is not premitted in the studio.
- No food in the studio.
- Be on time for your classes
- Always dress according to dress-code
- Always follow instruction

; As a dancer in training, you will need lots of long hours at the studio, As you move up the classes are longer. Please note, 'Fun movment' class do not get a show at the end of the year.
Fun Movment times: Monday, 10am-11am, Friday, 6pm-7pm
Still learning time: Monday 12pm-2pm, Wensday 11am-1pm, Friday 8pm-10pm
Pre-Pointe time: Monday 3pm-6pm, Thursday 8am-11am, Friday 2pm-5pm, Saturday 3pm-6pm
Pointe time: Tuesday 10am-3pm, Wensday 2pm-7pm, Friday 10am-3pm, Saturday 7pm-9pm, Sunday 6am-1pm
