Adrian lightly ruffled her hair and stared up at the ceiling again, eyelids feelings heavy. Eventually, the boy dozed off.

She smiled lightly and closed her eyes, dozing off to sleep. After sleeping for a few hours her puppy waddled into the room and started to paw and nip at Dylan, whimpering and whining. "Hmm? Oh hey Timber." she said sleepily and stood up, looking at Adrian, gently kissing his cheek before picking up the puppy and sleepily walked out of her room, running into an end table, knocking over a vase before starting to make her way towards the stairs, still half a sleep.

Adrian woke with a start when the shattering vase echoed into Dylan's room and swept his ice-blue gaze over the dark space, standing when he noticed the girl was absent. He shuffled out the door with ruffled bed-head and leaned over the banister to spot Dylan heading downstairs with a wriggling puppy. "Did you break something...?" He asked in a groggy tone.

She turned around on the single stair and looked at Adrian. "I don't think I did..but I might have.." she said sleepily, trying to hold Timber still as he started to get free of her grip and started barking, running down the stairs when he was free, but looked up at Dylan and let out a whimper before looking back in the direction of the living room and started barking again. "What has gotten into him." she said softly, making her way down the stairs slowly.
