Spencer pulled her dress out of the closet. She then laid it across her bed gently. The black lace of the dress fitted perfectly with the red base. She pulled out the maskfrom her special end table. She set it on her dresser. She slipped into the red dress cautiously. She tied a bow in the back and slipped on her heels. She walked over to her dresser and put a little makeup on then put the mask on her face gently. She walked downstairs and hopped her truck and headed to the ball.

Liam dressed in his favorite suit for the ball. He walked over to the mirror and combed out his hair, then slipped his new mask on. He looked at himself in the mirror and nodded, then walked out into the hallway to meet up with the rest of the boys.

Spencer pulled up in her orange old chevy truck. She sat in the truck for a couple of minutes. She adjusted her mask and got out. She brushed off her dress and headed in slowly. Her heels clicking against the marble stairs.-

[i]Louis walked out in his suit He adjusted his mask. He looked at Liam.- "Looking good lad"

Liam smiled and nodded. He pulled down on his blazer jacket and adjusted his mask. "Thanks. You too bud." He said, looking around for the others. He wiggled his toes in his usual nike high tops and looked down at his feet.

Jaylee sighed. She hadn't really wanted to go to this ball, but it got her away from her parents. Staring in the mirror, she examined her dress and mask. Deciding she was fine, she slipped on her black flats and walked over to Leno's cage. She put her hand in the snake's cage and it slithered up her arm. A small smile cracked at her lips as the black snake made it's way up her arm. Once it reached her shoulder, it stopped. For a moment, she stroked him before nodding. At that point, he slid back down her arm into the cage. She gave him a special treat, a few crickets and grasshoppers, before looking out her door. No parents. She crept out and hurried out the door. Luckily, her neighbor had agreed to give her a ride, so she climbed in the old van and they began towards the dance. Looking down to get the hair tie of her wrist, she saw the black finger less glove on her hand to protect the X tattoo. She tired her hair up in a pony tail as they drove.

Liam looked at his watch and looked around the hallway. Where are they all? How long does it take to get ready? He thought, starting to become impatient. He looked at Lou and sighed. "So, ready to dance lad?" He asked, trying to make conversation.

Jaylee had to listen to her neighbor talk for about the entire time. She didn't mind too much, though, because the woman was old, with no one to love, and it was kind of nice to Jay to hear someone's voice, someone's voice that wasn't mad, one that was actually quite kind. Because any time her parents talked to her, it was to scold her, to yell at her. If she tried making conversation with them, they would yell, as always. Before climbing out of the van, she looked back at the woman that had driven her and smiled, telling her thanks and that she appreciated her company. She nodded to her when they discussed the time she needed to be back. That's when she had to get back, any later, her parents would have her skin. Looking down, she knew her dress was old, cheap, since it was all she could afford, and the mask had been given to her by the same woman that drove her there. A bit reluctnatly, she began walking, kicking a few rocks. You're away from them. She said, which made her feel a bit better.

Alone/Single/Arriving at the Ball

I put on my dress and mask, getting ready to go to the masquerade. I was in Paris for my dancing, mainly my skills in ballet. Now, I was going to a masquerade ball with four other girls (I wouldn't exactly call them my friends) as part of this vacation. I really had no idea what to expect, so I just planned on staying in a corner and watching the entire time.

And that was what I did. I arrived at the masquerade slightly after a few of the other girls, and found a nice corner of the room where I could stand and observe, something I was much better at, before deciding if I would join in, and when. I really just hoped that the more energetic and friendly of the girls didn't find me. I would prefer to be alone.
