"Hmph, must've really loved you or something if she tried to kill herself. I'm only an Emergency Medical Technictian - which means that I just have to keep her alive and stable - but as far as I can tell, she almost killed herself on the spot." he sighed. "She's gonna have to go through a lot of pain, operations, and possibly therapy to ever get back into a self supporting state again." He sighed again and went back to treating Elizabeth.

One of the EMT's nodded at another. She stooped down to Nick's level to try and comfort him. "Sweetie, don't blame yourself for this." she started, voice smooth and sweet. "If you tried to stop her, then you might have gotten hurt yourself. We wouldn't want to have to take care of the both of you, now would we?" She stroked his hair motheringly. "Please, try to relax."
